What To Expect
Parque Nacional Rincon de la Vieja
All activities will be carried out at the faults of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano very close to the National Park.

5.00A few of my girlfriends and I went to Costa Rica for my Bachelorette party. We had such a blast!! Each adventure was fun filled and also well organized. Our tour guide Verny was very professional and knowledgeable. He was with each each step of the way throughout the entire adventure and we felt very safe with him leading us. Verny is a fantastic tour guide and I would highly recommend him for any tour!!

5.00I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience on this tour and with our guide Verny! He was so kind and knowledgeable about the tour, our activities and Costa Rica in general. Our safety was his number one priority and we indeed felt safe on our adventure but also so safe with him as a person. He accompanied us the whole way and took such great care of us and made sure we stayed hydrated, used sun screen and bug spray, and that we had fresh dry towels for our hot spring visit. He was extremely professional but also extremely personable and we adored his company and will remember him as one of the best parts of our vacation! If you get the chance, Verny is your guy! 5.00We can't say enough fabulous things about our once in a lifetime tour with Vernie! Vernie is a real life Diego! We had limited time and a lot of requests being that this was our first trip to Costa Rica and couldn't stay as long as we would have liked. Vernie shares his love and pride about his country, people, culture, food, animals and caters to what you want to do. Vernie is knowledgeable, professional, trustworthy and so much fun!!! He took such good care of us! Vernie genuinely cared about our experience. We can't wait to return to Costa Rica and will definitely book with Vernie again! Vernie did not feel like a tour guide, Vernie felt like family! Vamonos!

5.00First off, I can’t say enough great things about Verny! He is so darn genuine and authentic. I have traveled a lot and have taken many private tours and he took such amazing care for us and it is so obvious that he holds such passion for his country and for what he does. Down to every detail he went above and beyond. We had the best time. We traveled with friends and took a few tours with him. It was action packed. We went to Leona and went river tubing, horseback riding, on a water slide, hike to waterfalls, hot springs and mud baths. We also went zip lining which was awesome. He made sure we were all safe and comfortable. He is a true gem. I highly recommend choosing him for private tours, worth every dollar!

5.00Our experience with Costa Rica Family Tours was absolutely incredible, and our guide Vernie made it truly unforgettable. He is exceptionally knowledgeable—not only about Costa Rica’s history, but about the jungle itself. He showed us things we would have never seen without him, pointing out wildlife and details that would have completely gone unnoticed otherwise. I am very afraid of heights, and the zip lines were honestly intimidating for me. Vernie went above and beyond—he actually went with me on the zip lines, encouraged me, and made me feel so safe and comfortable that by the end, I was able to do the final zip line completely on my own! That moment alone meant so much to me. Despite being in a busy jungle area, Vernie made us feel like we were the only ones there. The experience felt completely personal, never rushed, and incredibly well cared for. Safety was always a top priority, and his calm, confident presence made us feel secure the entire time. His knowledge is truly unmatched—it’s hard to even put into words how much he knows. On top of that, we didn’t even need to bring our cameras. Vernie took countless photos and videos throughout the excursion and sent everything to us later that same evening. We will absolutely be using Vernie again on our next adventure to Costa Rica. What a beautiful country, and what an extraordinary tour guide. Highly, highly recommend!

5.00This tour/adventure really allows you to see and do all of the things costa rica is known for: waterfalls, hanging bridges, volcanos, hot springs, monkeys, zip lining and more! He picked us up promptly at 6:30 AM and we arrived before the crowds! Verny is very nice and knowledgeable. You can tell he wants his group to feel special and treated well. He's been doing this long enough he knows all of the people at the place and it was like we had the place to ourselves. All activities were great. My husband is typically a sit on the beach on vacation and he had a great time. We'd highly recommend Verny for any tour!
