I had been solo traveling and did not have a climbing partner or gear, so decided to hire a guide to get up on the beautiful Bukhansan granite—boy did this adventure not disappoint! Patrick provided all the gear I needed and would have provided shoes too if I hadn’t brought them with me. It was an all day affair, we started the day nice and early and made our way down by dinner time. I had a bit of crack climbing experience going into this and Patrick chose the perfect route to be scenic, fun, and challenging all in one. He was knowledgeable of the terrain, clearly had technical climbing capabilities (not to mention was super safe!) and made sure we got out at a reasonable time to beat large crowds. On top of that, Patrick was incredibly friendly and kind, it was like climbing with a trusted friend. If you’re interested in climbing in South Korea, I can’t recommend this experience enough.

I want to thank Jhon for the great day we had climbing together. It has been great !!! I am a climber, I come from Spain and I usually climb there. I came to Seoul alone and thought, is there a way to climb here?? I don't know the area, I need someone to climb and who is sure that they know what they are doing and needed material.... Well there is!! Jhon gave me his knowledge of the area, material and logistics. We organized an itinerary according to my tastes and level (it doesn't matter if you are a beginner, you have a professional at your side) and we scheduled a day of climbing in a wonderful place, Seoul. I think this adventure is the best memory I have of Seoul, without a doubt. Thanks John. Enjoy Climbing!!
