I had an incredible experience with Bharti during the tour of Dharavi and Dhobi Ghat. It was so much more than just a tour — it truly felt like a deep cultural experience. Bharti was an amazing guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and very passionate about what she does. She didn’t just show us places, she helped us understand the history, the community, and the everyday life in a very respectful and insightful way. Visiting Dharavi with her completely changed my perspective, and Dhobi Ghat was fascinating to see up close. What made it really special was the way Bharti connected with us and made everything feel authentic and meaningful. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Mumbai. It’s not just a tour — it’s something you will remember and learn from

Ansh was a great guide, she lives in Daharavi herself. We have seen many small impressive alleys. It was great and we would do it again.

Amazing experience with our guide Rakesh! Rakesh showed us all the most interesting parts of the tour, including the famous Dhobi Ghat and the lively Mumbai slums. He made everything feel engaging and easy to follow, and his enthusiasm was contagious. He was incredibly polite, had a great sense of humor, and always had an answer to any question we threw at him, even the unexpected ones. His English was excellent, and he never felt pushy or overbearing, which is something we really appreciated. On top of that, Rakesh created a very comfortable atmosphere. With him, you feel less like a tourist and more like a welcomed guest being shown the city by someone who truly loves it. He tells stories in a way that brings the places to life, and it’s clear he cares deeply about his work. Absolutely one of the best guides we’ve ever had. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. Highly recommended!

Duration? Spot on. Educational? We got mega-schooled. Exceed expectations? Heck, yes. We met our charismatic, smart and generally lovely guide, Zeeshan, at the coffee shop which had good air con (thankfully!). Zeeshan took us across the train track over to Dharavi where we walked through the industrial and residential side, taking lots of stops to learn about the many skills and workshops within the area. We were even fortunate enough to be able to enter some workshops which was extremely humbling. It is not the experience you think (or, at least, I though) it would be. Everyone is busy playing their part in their work or home life and we learned more in those few hours than we have in a long time (culture, history and industry). We then got a train to Dhobi Ghat laundry which is a spectacular sight and unlike anything we see in our British lives. Luckily, we'd already had a train pass and been using them a few days prior but if you're new or nervous about the train, Zeeshan or your tour guide will no doubt be your first time support! To conclude, the only down side is that the tour had to end. We could have easily spent the rest of the day with Mr. Knowledgeable Zeeshan who we both agree is the best tour guide we've had to date! And huge thanks to Mohammad for amazing communications and answering my follow-up question! Cheers lads, back to Wales now :)
