Meet your expert guide at our central bus point. Settle in for a comfortable one-hour journey, during which your guide will set the stage, sharing fascinating stories and practical tips to prepare you for the day ahead.

9:30 - The Ascent & The Adventure Begins

Arrive at Mutianyu and begin your epic 5-kilometer hike. We'll take the scenic cable car up to Watchtower #14, saving your energy for the wonders ahead. From there, embark on a guided trek to the summit at Watchtower #20, where you'll be rewarded with unparalleled panoramic views.

14:30 - Relax & Refuel

Return to the MuBus visitor center to unwind. Enjoy complimentary tea and snacks, or we highly recommend the acclaimed countryside buffet at the MuBus Wall Restaurant to savor a well-deserved meal.

15:00 - Homeward Bound

Board the bus for your relaxed return journey to Beijing.

16:30 - Farewell

Arrive back at the original departure point, concluding your memorable Great Wall exploration

This off-the-tourist-path hike gives you an amazing experience. Step away from the crowds through a side passage and walk through the bush along unrepaired sections of the wall. Our guide Taka was fabulous, even producing an unexpected refreshment along the way. The chair lift up to the wall and toboggan ride down add fabulous aspects to the adventure. Do note there are a LOT of steps, and one needs to be fit to enjoy.

Cici did a great job in organising our Great Wall tour! She was very professional, friendly and communicated all instructions very clearly. Cici kindly gave us an overview of the history of the Great Wall on the way there too. She was very friendly and gave us other tips for travelling in Beijing. Cici made sure we had a comfortable experience during the challenging hike and did a great job organising our tickets. She is very friendly and did her very best to make it a memorable time for us. I would highly recommend booking any tour with her in the future!

Well organized. The trek was challenging but we’re glad we saw all 20 watchtowers. Cici was great guide, always smiling and happy to answer any question. The buffet lunch was tasty with many options.

Everything is taken care. English guide, Leo is helpful. Booked through Klook and tour agent contacted us through the hotel reception. Hotel picked up and bus ride to Mutianyu.
