What To Expect

this self-guide day tour will visit great wall of china (mutianyu great wall) and forbidden city (except the monday when the forbidden city will close) in one day, it will take 8-9 hours from pickup to dropoff. we will pick you up at downtown hotels, airbnb, PEK airport, railway station, our driver will hold up a paper printed your name on the appointment time. it will take around 1.5 hr to mutianyu and 2 hrs to back. you will have around 2-3 hours on the great wall, 2 hours in forbidden city. we will drop you off at the pickup point or the place you like in downtown.

If you are doing a long stop in Beijing and you want to visit both places, they are the best way to do it. When you are tired of hours of flight, not sleeping a lot, language barrier...it is so difficult to do it by your own, so don't doubt and contact them! They are very punctual, great communication, great service. Thank you very much because you made easier our visit. The best choice I did!

My wonderful driver David Li was waiting for me at the agreed spot even though my flight was an hour late. The great wall was amazing but forbidden city was sold out so he drove me and showed me Tiananmen square and a few other amazing buildings and translated some facts about them and different facts about beijing. He was great and let me sleep on the long drive and then pointed out stuff when I was awake and we had some laughs. Couldn't have asked for any better, he was great! Thanks David :)

Coordinating pick up with 3B Taxi was easy. I was concerned ahead of time because they selected a pickup time of 7am even though our flight landed at 4:45am, but that pickup time ended up being perfect as by the time we got through customs, used the restroom to freshen up, and visited the ATM, Edison (our driver) was there waiting for us. Going to the Wall that early was great as it wasn't crowded, we had plenty of time at the wall, before heading back to the hotel (we spent most of the car rides asleep as this was at the end of our 2 week trip and we were exhausted). Edison was great and delivered us to our hotel in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend this service for trip to great wall from the airport.

Tony was early to pick us up, and had a banana and water waiting in the car. The car is new and very comfortable. The ride went quick and Tony helped us get our tickets and direct us to the wall. Overall a great experience, would recommend!
