5.00Had a wonderful experience today in Nagasaki with our guide Karen. She was so kind showing us all of the amazing things Nagasaki had to offer. We managed to see all of the included sights as anticipated. The Atomic Bomb museum is certainly a must while visiting Nagasaki, and the incredible views from the ropeway and Mt. Inasa are not to be missed. Thank you again Karen for sharing your fantastic country, and culture with us.

5.00Hiro and Vichka provided a private, customized, English speaking tour of the highlights of Nagasaki. It was fantastic!!! From pickup to each of these points of interest: The Peace Park, the Hypocenter Park, the Atomic Bomb Museum, the beautiful and breathtaking views from the Mt. Inasa Observatory, the Megane Bridge and the Oura Cathedral with a bit of shopping at the end of the tour was all that we could have asked for in a four hour tour.

She was happy to accommodate our pace and take us to some places that were special requests. The car was comfortable and Adrienne was professional throughout the entire day. 5.00I had chosen to book an excursion to Huis Ten Bosch Theme Park in Nagasaki with a large cruise line, and that excursion was canceled without notice at the last moment. My heart was set on visiting the Theme Park, and so I immediately began researching companies with which I could arrange a private tour. From the very start, my communications with Nagasaki Private Tours were thoroughly-detailed, professional & prompt. All of my (many!) questions were answered, and I was shocked to find out that I had actually been communicating with the CEO of the company, Hiro! I completed my tour today & my assigned guide, Hiromi, was excellent! She was friendly, professional & allowed me to explore the park at my own pace, so that I could engage in extensive photography, which is my passion. Both Hiro & Hiromi also worked hard to allow me to attempt a last-minute change to my itinerary. I cannot recommend Nagasaki Private Tours, Hiro & Hiromi highly enough!

5.00We enjoyed our tour of Nagasaki with our guide, Adrianne. She met us early at the Sasebo port and drove us to Nagasaki where she started the tour at the Peace Park. She was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and interesting. She provided the right amount of information for us, showing us things we would never have noticed if on our own. She showed us all the highlights of the city at a comfortable, relaxed pace. She fit in everything we wanted to see before returning us to our ship in plenty of time before we set sail. Highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to spend our time while docked in Sasebo!

5.00We had a wonderful tour of Nagasaki by our tour guide, Adrianne. She met us at the port of Sasebo on time and drove us to Nagasaki where she expertly guided us to all of the highlights of the city. We toured the Peace Park, getting us there right at 11:02 when the bomb was dropped. She pointed out all of the highlights and took pictures of us. Then she took us to the hypocenter and showed us the ground level after attack. We then visited the museum and she explained all of the highlights. Afterwards she took us to the top of the tallest mountain overlooking Nagasaki for absolutely stunning views. She took us to the shrine gate that was still standing after the explosion and then to the oldest bridge in Nagasaki before returning us to our ship in plenty of time to set sail. We couldn’t have had a better day in Nagasaki!

He's a well-traveled explorer himself (>45 countries), so his understanding of the global issues surrounding the bombing is deep, broad and philosophical. His English is excellent and he worked hard to tailor the tour to our specific interests. We couldn't be happier, and it was worth every penny!
