We had a wonderful experience with Yuri! She was very knowledgable and shared personal family experiences with us. The Japanese focus on peace is truly admirable! Yuri helped us navigate the tram and funicular which made the tour so easy and enjoyable for us while getting to see and learn so much in just a few hours! I highly recommend Yuri and this tour!

We were met at the cruise terminal by two delightful ladies Adrianne and Akino who were to be our guides for the morning. We used the trams, an ideal mode of transport to see the sights of Nagasaki. Adrianne was very knowledgeable (Akino took the back seat this time) as she guided us to the various sights in particular those relating to the atom bomb and the devastation left behind in 1945. The ladies finally escorted us back to the cruise terminal, an hour after the tour was meant to end. We thoroughly enjoyed the morning in their company in this beautiful city of Nagasaki.

The day of our tour of Nagasaki was rainy and cool. Regardless, Yuri had thought of everything. Pre-paid tram tickets, umbrellas, a smile combined with the determination to show us all that was in the tour, regardless of the weather. clearly, she is very well prepared for her tours and it showed. There were four of us in the tour and we would highly recommend Yuri.

Joe did a great job getting us to various sites in the city. Enjoyed the commentary. Wife had recent knee surgery and he was careful to accommodate her limitations. Overall enjoyable tour.

Not only to our guide Yuri, but also to ourselves, this tour in Nagasaki was an important introduction as to why we should try to reduce the proliferation of nuclear weapons. Yuri is not only a pleasant and very knowledgeable guide, she has family connections to the catastrophe that happened in Nagasaki in 1945. Just as importantly, she was able to explain to us all the great things that have happened in Nagasaki since that awful day and how it has become a city transformed. She has a delightful manner in the way she presents all of this information and we certainly would recommend her highly. also worth noting, is that all of the exhibits that had a fee or paid for by Yuri I.e. The tour had no additional costs.
