The tour was quite expensive compared to other trips we’ve done; wine tasting not included in the price was expensive

The highlight of the tour is the Castello Amoroso. It’s perfect for wine lovers but if you’re not much into wine, it might be more practical to do the visit on your own. The tour will “drown” you in wine tasting to the point of the alcohol would kick in by the time you drive home. The Raymond Vinery tour was eclectic. I suggest that Raymond Vinery waive the wine tasting fees if their clients buy a bottle of wine from them especially if the bottle is in the 3 digits range.

Great way to experience a wide range of Napa wine. The guide was great, the wineries very good and diverse. Enjoyable experience with a group of like minded people.

Something to keep in mind some wineries charge people even though people do not drink. It would be nice to know ahead of time how much they charge. You are given an estimate but it’s best to know the exact amount and also which wineries we are going to. We only knew of one in specific which was the castle. Also, the pizza that was included with the ticket was not offered. The restaurant was closed. The good thing we went to a different place. We did pay however, we were reimbursed. Overall, the experience was fun. Met people from different places.

The idea is great. Be prepared to spend around $150 per person on top of the tour price. They didn’t tell us that we had to pay for the wine tasting at each stop even if the person doesn’t drink and isn’t doing the tasting. This was unexpected as we had 2 non drinkers. Lunch was supposed to be covered at a specific location and the restaurant was closed so we had to eat lunch at a burger place which was actually amazing food. But long lines, made us behind the rest of the day. We now have to submit receipts for reimbursement. Which is fine but unexpected. The tour itself was fun. The people we were with were a blast and our driver Mel was amazing!! He handled the day like a professional and was very friendly and accommodating. The wineries we stopped at were very nice and the wine of course was great.

The trolley tour to Castello di Amorosa was a fantastic experience. Our guide shared Napa Valley from a true local’s perspective, blending history, insider knowledge, and playful humor that kept the tour fun and engaging. I learned so much about the area, including the town’s Michelin-star restaurant scene and rich culture. The scenic ride and personal storytelling made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting an informative, entertaining, and memorable ride.

Upbeat and kind tour guide (Omar). He was very knowledgable about the Napa and Sonoma area. The wineries were all very different and interesting. The lunch provided was pizza, salad and ice cream. The food was delicious. Our only issue was that at the end of the tour the trolley's battery went dead, so we all had to Uber from the last wine stop. The trolley owner stated he would reimburse everyone for their Uber fares.

We boarded the wine trolley and sat in an open-air section--wear layers if you are in a colder season--we did switch to the inside but still good to have layers. Omar our tour leader was wonderful with good stories/information and he played upbeat music at the end of the tour. We went to three very different wine experiences; a traditional winery, a more modern winery and a small tasting room attached to a small winery. We enjoyed them all for the experience, with some wine being better than others. We had a nice lunch of pizza and gelato which was included. The only thing to keep in mind is that the tastings are not included in the price and must be paid for at each vinyard.
