Come join the “original” cable car wine tasting tour through beautiful Napa Valley. Hop aboard one of our hand-built replicas of a San Francisco Cable Car! Every detail, from the all-wooden carriage to the solid brass bell, is an authentic feature right off the original blueprints. This Napa Valley wine trolley tour will be an experience you will never forget. Enjoy endless unobstructed views of vineyard-dotted hills on this special wine-tasting adventure. Visit three or four wineries or tasting lounges and learn all about Napa’s history and wine from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. Lunch is included and will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Winery stops and lunch stop can change periodically.
This tour picks up at the Oxbow Market 610 1st St, Napa, CA 94559. Meet on the street in front.

Jackets and rain protection are recommended in the winter months

Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change wineries at any time.

What To Expect
Oxbow Public Market
You’ll be picked up at Napa’s Oxbow Market in the late morning for a 6-hour tour on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley, an open-air vehicle modeled after a historic 1890s San Francisco cable car. Enjoy the wind in your air as you take in the beautiful sights and smells of Napa wine country. Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

5.00The 3 wineries were great. We visited Peju where Scott was informative and entertaining. The wines were perfect and the venue was beautiful. Then we visited Rutherford Ranch. Doug took us into the vineyard and taught us about their winery and wines. Finally, we tasted wine at Jean Edwards. We ate a great lunch at Bottega in Yountsville. Yountsville is a quaint town. We did not go on the Trolley due to mechanical problems. Our mimi wine bus was comfortable and our driver, Richard was knowledgeable. Our tour was held up by 20 minutes waiting for people who were late. I am not sure of the protocol, but people need to be on time. Be aware that this tour does not cover tasting fees. I would do this again.

1.00My expectations we're too high. No trolley Tour Guide low energy and when doing the tour was spoke in low voice and no one heard what he was saying. Only one winery was worth going to "Peje" the other one's I wpuld have skipped. One of the wineries was in a warehouse. I had done a tour with a different company and all wineries we're breathtaking. I would skip this tour- trolley was not included and juat Uber to different wineries.

5.00What a fantastic way to tour Napa Vineyards on our girls trip! Took the guess work out of planning and made things easy! Omar, our guide, was knowledgeable and so much fun! Lunch was outstanding with more great wine! A must add to your to do list when in Napa!

5.00The entire tour was fabulous. Dennis, the tour operator, was excellent. We went to three wineries and all of them very informational. The wine and the hosts at all three were excellent as well. We stopped for lunch at Bottega and the food was very good. I highly recommend this trolly experience.

3.00The tour is okay . Hearing about the different wine processes was cool . I don’t drink wine so it was overly expensive when at a wine tasting . You still pay whether you taste or not . Kinda ridiculous if you ask me . The fee’s for the tour was not bad and the meal was exceptional . Other than paying so much extra at the wineries for tasting which none include any type of snacks things and they always use the same glass for each pour . Not cool since each one should have its own glass and snack food for pairing . Overall it was fun without having to drive around in Napa to view the wineries. It would have been more exciting if it had not rained and we did not get the trolley. Just a party bus which is not fun for my age group or the reason we were there .

5.00A bit chilly but the inside seating was very confortable. Would definitely recommend especially in the warmer weather. Met so many nice people, very fun.

3.00Over priced and did not include tasting fees. The lunch was family style and forgettable. The hosts at each winery did their best to entertain us but lacked in-depth knowledge. The wines offered for tasting were ordinary.
