Come join the “original” cable car wine tasting tour through beautiful Napa Valley. Hop aboard one of our hand-built replicas of a San Francisco Cable Car! Every detail, from the all-wooden carriage to the solid brass bell, is an authentic feature right off the original blueprints. This Napa Valley wine trolley tour will be an experience you will never forget. Enjoy endless unobstructed views of vineyard-dotted hills on this special wine-tasting adventure. Visit three or four wineries or tasting lounges and learn all about Napa’s history and wine from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. Lunch is included and will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Winery stops and lunch stop can change periodically.

Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change wineries at any time.

What To Expect
Oxbow Public Market
You’ll be picked up at Napa’s Oxbow Market in the late morning for a 6-hour tour on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley, an open-air vehicle modeled after a historic 1890s San Francisco cable car. Enjoy the wind in your air as you take in the beautiful sights and smells of Napa wine country. Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

5.00Paul our driver was great! He took us to 4 different wineries. Each was different in its own way. We had lunch at the second winery and all ate lunch together while our host explained the proper way to drink/smell/taste a glass of wine. It was so much fun! We had a great trolly ride and would definitely do it again!

5.00It was a great way to experience Napa! We visited 4 wineries, had lunch in 1, and didn’t have to worry about driving. It was great. I wish the wineries would would serve at least a cracker or some peanuts, but that’s not the trolley’s fault.

5.00We had a great time, the wineries were beautiful and the ride on the trolley was comfortable. The weather was absolutely perfect, it’s a little windy if you choose to ride in the open air part of the trolley but for us that was part of the fun experience.

2.00Tom was a great tour guide on board the trolley. Wine tasting was also good as we visited some of the off-brand wineries. However, after the first tasting, which gave us a fair amount of wine, the second winery, Backstage, was to provide lunch. After Tom's description of the great food in Napa Valley, we found an extremely small sour dough torpedo with very little chicken or condiments with coleslaw could have been much better. The large chocolate chip cookie/muffin was the best item. Was especially disappointing since there was tasting at Backstage Winery and we had 2 more wineries to visit. A proper lunch would have let my wife and I continue tasting as a decent lunch would have help with absorption. Cannot recommend this trip without a huge improvement in the Napa style lunch that should be served to the patrons!
