Come join the “original” cable car wine tasting tour through beautiful Napa Valley. Hop aboard one of our hand-built replicas of a San Francisco Cable Car! Every detail, from the all-wooden carriage to the solid brass bell, is an authentic feature right off the original blueprints. This Napa Valley wine trolley tour will be an experience you will never forget. Enjoy endless unobstructed views of vineyard-dotted hills on this special wine-tasting adventure. Visit three or four wineries or tasting lounges and learn all about Napa’s history and wine from your friendly and knowledgeable guide. Lunch is included and will be enjoyed at a local restaurant. Winery stops and lunch stop can change periodically.

Napa Valley Wine Trolley operates “Rain or Shine” year-round. However, if there is a chance of rain, high winds, or unforeseen mechanical problems, we may have to substitute the trolley for a mini-bus. Napa Valley Wine Trolley reserved the right to substitute or change wineries at any time.

What To Expect
Oxbow Public Market
You’ll be picked up at Napa’s Oxbow Market in the late morning for a 6-hour tour on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley, an open-air vehicle modeled after a historic 1890s San Francisco cable car. Enjoy the wind in your air as you take in the beautiful sights and smells of Napa wine country. Your friendly, knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with commentary and stories about Napa’s history and wine culture.

5.00Had a great time cruising with Paul on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley. Our lunch at Bottega was the best meal of our entire trip.

3.00Our driver was great. It was a bit chilly and windy since this is basically an open air trolly. The 1st stop Rutherford Ranch was very informative. Wine tasting was done while walking the property. The other 2 stops were just sitting down during tastings. (We chose to forego those) Lunch at Bottega not so good. Service was family style. Pasta was ok but pizza was apparently baked well before we arrived and looked as if the dough was premade and froze. The coffee gelato was served in a 2oz plastic cup with a plastic spoon. Was not impressed for an expensive Napa Valley restaurant.

4.00The tour itself was fun, we had Paul as our guide and he was great. The lunch was extremely dissapointing. We were served food that couldve been served at a high school. Wilted salad, frozen then overcooked pizzas, basic pasta with red sauce, and a tiny ice cream served in a plastic mouthwash sized cup.

5.00Excellent experience. We particularly enjoyed the Backstage Winery. Every tasting at this winery was outstanding. Great group of people on the trolley. Lunch stop was awesome. Great food and the restaurant was beautiful. The lunch and restaurant exceeded expectations.
