In February 2026 my husband and I spent three days in Nashville. We visited The Grand Ole Opry, The Country Music Hall of Fame/RCA Studio B Tour, the Ryman Auditorium and The Bluebird Cafe. They were all wonderful and must-do's, but there is a lot more to see in Nashville. We read about Steven Whitson's VIP tour of Nashville and after reading the outstanding reviews we booked it. Now we are among the many people who sing Steven's praises. Steven contacted us soon after we booked. He confirmed our booking, made himself available to answer questions and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. He also gave great tips that allowed us to successfully book tickets to The Bluebird Cafe. Soon after we arrived in Nashville Steven contacted us to welcome us and confirm the arrangements to pick us up at our hotel. On the day of our tour he arrived early, he had bottled water and local treats waiting for us in his vehicle, and he gave us a very warm welcome. We felt immediately like we were going to be spending the afternoon with a friend. Steven is a singer-songwriter. He knows Nashville very well and gave us a greater understanding of the city and the music industry. We extended our tour from two hours to three, in order to fit in everything we wanted to see. Steven took us around the downtown area, stopping in the area around Broadway/Honky Tonk row to share stories and give us some history of the area. We got to see the Bicentennial Park, the Capital, Music Row, The Gulch, the Parthenon, Belmont University and the 12th Ave South strip of shops and restaurants. A very special stop along the way was at Marathon Village. It is a very interesting and historical place. We did tastings at a distillery there and Steven took us into a room that had vintage Marathon automobiles in it. He said the room had great acoustics, grabbed his guitar from his car, and sang a song to Brian and I in celebration of our 42 years of marriage. It was beautiful and we will never forget it. When our three hours with Steven came to an end we were sorry to say goodbye. If you are planning a trip to Nashville and want to really experience Nashville, book a tour with Steven. You will be very happy with your decision.
