At the Rum Cake Factory, you will get to taste the most famous brand of Rum Cake in The Bahamas. The Factory sits in the heart of the city, and has been there for over 20 years.

Fort Montagu

Enjoy the breathtaking view of a small fort that was built in 1741 and is equipped with four cannons that were used to defend the island from Spanish invaders. The fort sits on the eastern shore line of Nassau, The Bahamas.

    Did not get what we paid for. Did not see Fort Fincastle, did not see Fort Charlotte and did not stop at Junkanoo Beach. Van looked like it came from a junkyard. It was dirty and junk all over. No WiFi. Driver was nice and seemed knowledgeable.

    There were 5 stops on the tour. On one there were samples of rum cake - very good!! Another stop was a rum distillery. Small samples of rum were given. One stop was in an area of fish fry restaurants. No samples here - we just ordered food off their menu. It was very good but not what we were expecting. Otherwise the commentary and other stops were interesting.

    Nico was somewhat informative but not enough history of Nassau. He never once offered his hand to me when I was getting on or off the bus. He did tell us some jokes but I was more interested in the history of Nassau.

    Nicko was fun, accommodating, patient, informative and best of all great to spend the day with. The tour was just long enough to learn about some history of Nassau.. We took the early tour and spent time shopping downtown before heading back to our hotel. Be reminded, everything starts closing around 5 pm.
