On Tuesdays ,because archeological sites are closed, instead of Demeter s temple we visit Belonia tower and Panagia Drosiani church ,the oldest in Balcan peninsula

What To Expect
Temple of Demeter
Our experienced escort on the way to the site in the bus will give you information about Demeter temple and there you ll pay your entrance fee ticket (4€ pp in cash only) and underyour escort s guidance you ll visit first the temple and then the museum located there. On Tuesdays this site is closed so instead you will visit Bazeos Tower ,former monastery of 16th cen AD and nowadays cultural centre (5 Euro pp entrance fee)
Along with your escort , after walking in the heart of the village you ll visit the tradistional olivepress where your escort will explain how the olive oil procedure was years ago and then together you ll enjoy a live demonstation at the traditional pottery workshop. Here you ll learn what is sfouni or the cup of justice.

5.00What a great way to see the beautiful Island of Naxos our tour guide and driver were awesome.Our experience with our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable about every aspect of the island.Our driver George was a legend driving our bus especially on those windy roads.

5.00This trip is a good way to explore the beautiful island which is quite large. The tour covered the hills, villages and seaside . It does not cover the old town near the port and Apollo temple , which can be explored on your own. Joseph's English accent was easy to understand and he was sweet enough to bring me next day, my water bottle which I had forgotten in one village store. My only suggestion is that the guests

5.00We took the highlights of Naxos tour today, sept 28th with vickie(our guide) and george(our driver) It’s was a fun informative day with lots of stops in pretty villages, and areas of historical interest, including a pottery demo & an old olive press. Lots of lovely scenery, and interesting facts about Naxos. Our guide Vickie was really lovely, knowledgable & friendly, and gave recommendations on where to eat lunch. A very enjoyable day, great value for money Thank you Vickie & George for a great day out

4.00The guide Jacob & driver were excellent, However, why didn't the tour include mention of St Georgios church in Halki?? I found this amazingly gorgeous site by seeing a sign on the road. It was my favorite part of the day.

5.00Excellent day out with Angeliki giving us interesting local facts and Spiro driving the bus like a limousine. The longer lunch and afternoon swim stops were ideal. Would recommend to anyone who wants see the real Naxos.

1.00My family and I were so excited for this tour but the bus never showed up! We waited for an hour, emailed the tour guide, called, texted, and never heard back. Would not recommend!

5.00Tour guide was passionate about Naxos and very entertaining. Tour was quite extensive and covered a large part of the island which was our intended purpose.
