See the Cajuns of the Bayou living and surviving in harmony with the swamps. Here, the waterways are their highways. From the relaxed comfort of our covered New Orleans Swamp Tour Boats, you will drift slowly past a 2000 year old Indian Burial Mound, a Cajun cemetery and a fishing village! You'll admire the wildlife that made the Barataria Swamps the Crown Jewel of the Louisiana Purchase. Here, birds, snakes, turtles, fur animals, and gators - the king of the swamp - are easily spotted in Spring, Summer, and Fall.

They have a baby alligator you get to hold and take pictures with. You get to watch the tour guide feed the big alligators

Really enjoyed this. Captain Ernie, had a great wry sense of humour, and an almost encyclodedic knowledge of the Mississippi bayous. Definitely better than the Airboat tour.

Good value, excellent experience. Tour guide was fantastic, highly recommended. Only negative, noisy nearby air boats, we were on the pontoon boat.

We had a wonderful time with Ernie on our swamp tour. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We both know a lot more about alligators, their habits and nesting. In the large boat with the quiet motor it was peaceful and serene the whole time so Ernie was able to give us lots of interesting facts and information, we enjoyed it thoroughly!

The boat is much quieter than the airboat… Covered, good breeze, great views… And boat captain, Jason, gave an excellent tour! Also got to hold and pet a baby alligator! Lots of fun!

Captain Ernie was amazing! Adept as an historian of New Orleans culture as well as a naturalist, he provided an informative and entertaining tour. I will absolutely bring my family back!
