Absolutely amazing and the food was great! Michael was my guide. I told him I had 4/5 Big 5 and this man was able to find a leopard, in the dark, across a river, while driving, using a spotlight, and looking for it. Also saw the black rhino which was amazing. The rhinos are my favorite! Absolutely worth it. We also saw elephants, zebra, and giraffe. Spectacular service. Dinner was absolutely amazing. I tried the Impala stir fry, that was delicious and the dinner service was amazing. I can see why it was sold out my first night. I highly recommend!

Getting close to elephants! More of an afternoon drive than a night drive, would have liked to experience it a little bit later on.

Spectacular experience. We heard lions roaring nearby while safely enjoying a camp fire with delicious food under a starry night

Overall the game drive was amazing. The driver was really knowledgable about where the game would be. The food at dinner was great, only slightly let down by the organisation around a very large group - which meant that smaller groups (like ours) were really left out in the cold. In some ways I know that larger groups require more organisation - but we were really left to fend for ourselves. Just bad timing I guess - but as I say, I would still recommend the activity.

This is an excellent way to spend an afternoon/evening in Vic Falls. The highlight for us was seeing not one, but seven Black Rhinos (not guaranteed, of course) and a variety of other wildlife including giraffe and zebra. After a great supper, the spotting light came out and we saw more animals including a huge herd of buffalo and - a Bushbaby!. Good roads thru the area and a knowledgeable guide. Easy pick up and delivery to hotel in Vic Falls.

Starting late afternoon we saw some antilopes, giraffes and birds, which was okay as I didn`t expect much more. Everybody knows that the park is not exactly packed with animals. But when it started to get dark we came pretty close to some black rhinos, which was really awesome and completed my Big Five spotting collection. The bush dinner was okay, but don`t expect an outstanding experience under the African stars. There`s a campfire to warm yourselves up, but there isn`t much time to enjoy it. After an hour or so the driver wants to move on and urges you to get ready. The way back to Victoria Falls was darned cold (June) and the only animal we saw was a leopard sitting quietly in the headlights, less than 10 meters away from us. And that was great.

We were picked up at our hotel in the open vehicle and transferred to a private reserve where we began our game drive. Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable and we enjoyed looking for birds and animals. Along the drive we saw giraffe, zebra, kudu, and black rhino was a huge highlight. We stopped for sundowners accompanied by some nice snacks before continuing on our drive. We did not see predators except for their footprints, but it was still fun. Dinner was great, plenty of food served by cheerful staff. On our way back to the main road we saw about 7 hyenas which was an amazing sighting!! The trip back to Victoria Falls was freezing because of the open vehicle so remember to take a jacket even in Summer!

Our night safari was cancelled due to inspection. Tamuka Travel offered us an afternoon safari with another provider. In the evening, as the meal was included in the attraction, we were invited to the Lookout Café restaurant overlooking the Zambezi, full moon evening... the icing on the cake. A big thank you for this plan B that we do not regret.
