Tent was clean and bed comfortable, nice blanket. Good food and other travelers pleasant and engaging. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Drummers and dancing after dinner, very cool. ATV ride exciting with stop along the coast...just beautiful. Camel ride too much fun. Make sure you sit close to the saddle because I fell off, my fault, (no injuries). My only complaint was it was not caught on camera because it was hilarious!!! :) Sitting in the desert was peaceful, plenty of shade. If you decide to take this trip, stay two days and enjoy the activities more than once. Very exciting and peaceful experience.

There was no stop in Thies to visit the decorative arts or basket ware stalls. The driver and guide did not know where we were staying and had to make phone calls to find out. The company did not give us that information. The camp had no record of our booking and had to make several calls to establish that we were supposed to be there. The place was tatty and run down. The seating for meals was very uncomfortable. The bedding in the tent was poor quality and not clean. Moisture ran down the inside overnight and soaked some our belongings. We booked the alternative to a camel ride which was a buggy ride. We waited 45 minutes then had to ask, and were told the buggy had broken down. Meanwhile the camel rides lasted only about 5 minutes. Consequently we didn’t see much of the dunes. There was no view of the sunset from the camp. All I can say in favour is the fact that the food was fine. Overall this was a very poor experience. We complained and have been offered a paltry amount in “compensation”.

The visit I made to the desert of lompoul was only at the entrance of the desert (where there are also tents to stay overnight), there were trees, birds, etc (i.e., it is not deep desert). The camel ride was pleasant but lasted only about 10 minutes, also at the entrance of the desert. The sleeping tents are great, have bed, shower and retreat, but it makes immense heat during the night. Night animation is touring. The tents for dinner and breakfast are also good, strangely with wooden tables and electric sockets, where we can charge the phone. On the way to the desert there are bribes for people who reside on the way.. I liked this little meeting with the locals

Very expensive for the service, catch tourist. Average meal, we paid 800 euros for 4, while many people had paid 300 for the same thing. Very disappointed

I started planning a trip with this company since June 2021. We communicated August 2, 2022 about the trip. He left me stranded in Dakar after he promised a Dakar City tour and a Fathala Lion Tour. I don't know if his vehicle isn't working or what. I traveled solo from Texas and now have to scramble to find a replacement. HE IS A BIG LIAR. If you want your vacation ruined, trust him.

A once in a lifetime experience! Imagine spending the night in a West African desert! I can't believe I actually rode a camel in Africa!
