Start your first visit on a sampan boat along Tam Coc river, rowed by a local. Known as “Halong Bay on land”, the boat trip is a nice journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of limestone mountains, rice paddy if traveling during harvest season.

5.00The place is magical. Do yourself a favor and stay more than one day. We spent one night in the resort and we wished we stayed longer. We were able to eat all the best spots without feeling rushed. The bike ride was the highlight for me, while my wife loved the ascent to the top of the mountain where the dragon is and the boat visit to the caves. The resort was top notch, and the food for the two lunch break breaks was super yummy. We were lucky enough to be on our own with the guide for most of the trip, as the people rep picked up on day one in Hanoi went with a different guy. Tom was the BEST guide we ever had - a true rockstar. I felt like our son was taking care of us, that was the level of dedication and attention to detail that he had for us.

5.00Brilliant trip with our guide Nam who was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. Highlights were the tam coc hike to see the dragon statue, bike ride to local markets, bird sanctuary and trang a boat tour through the limestone cliffs and caves. The accomodation was beautiful and our kids 11, 12 and 15 yrs all loved it as well. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Ninh Binh.

5.00Our tour was amazing overall- 100% recommend! Nam was amazing and every stop was delightful. Please know that the two days add up to around 25 kilometers of cycling- we read and reread the itinerary in preparation and had no idea that there would be quite that much biking. Nevertheless, the views were incredible and it was worth the sore butt. Both lunches were great and the hotel was very nice. We ended the day with massages, and loved every second. Nam was great at communicating the details of our tour as we went and adapting the itinerary as needed. I highly recommend this tour as an amazing opportunity to get out of Hanoi and see Vietnam’s dramatic beauty.

5.00Our guide Fun was fantastic. We loved the tour and pleased we did 2 days. Great itinerary and Fun was really knowledgable and friendly, and took lots of great photos for us! All the food and the hotel was a great standard. Definitely recommend! It was quite physical with lots of bike riding and a hike- which we loved.

5.00Són our guide for the two day one night Ninh Binh Tour was very amazing and helpful. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. The tour was extremely accommodating for vegetarian food options and LGBTQ+ friendly. The experience with him was very authentic, would 100% recommend him! It was a great tour to experience authentic Vietnamese life outside of the big city

5.00Our trip to Ninh Binh was absolutely unforgettable! The itinerary included a hike up Laying Dragon Mountain, a boat trip through Bird Valley, and a scenic boat ride in Tam Coc - each experience was unique and truly breathtaking. The panoramic views from Laying Dragon Mountain were stunning, Bird Valley amazed us with its peaceful atmosphere and rich wildlife seen from the boat, and the Tam Coc cruise was pure magic, with towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery all around. Our guide, Son, was simply outstanding. From start to finish, he made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for. He was kind, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about Vietnamese culture, history, and everyday life - always in a natural, engaging, and never pushy way. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend this tour (and Son!) to anyone visiting Ninh Binh.

5.00Very well-organised tour with Nam who was an incredible guide. The transport was so easy and luxurious, the food was very tasty and the activities very enjoyable! Nam was so knowledgeable and passionate about all periods of Vietnamese history and made the two days so enjoyable! I would recommend this tour company and Nam to anyone, thanks a million!

5.00We could not have asked for anything better! Our guide, Tom, was very prepared. The guy was extremely helpful, kind, welcoming and nice. He received all our requests impeccably and was able to make this tour, already very very good, even more enjoyable. The stops to visit we loved, as well as all the activities. Also the meals in the restaurants and the hotel some of the best and most comfortable we had during our trip to Vietnam. I recommend it dispassionately
