Tambacounda

Departure early in the morning from Dakar or Saly by road, discovery of the shrub steppe, favorite area of nomadic breeders. Lunch at the restaurant "Le Relais de Kaolack", located on Kundam beach by the Saloum river. Continue to Wassadou on the banks of the Gambia river and settle in at the Wassadou hotel at the edge of Niokolo Koba park. Typical huts comfortably equipped to combine pleasure with nature and relaxation ... Dinner and overnight at the Wassadou hotel.

Kedougou

Wake up early for a safari in Niokolo koba park in the middle of lush vegetation in the company of an animal guide in search of wild animals. Possibility to see warthogs, monkeys, antelopes, many species of birds and exceptionally panthers and lions. After visiting the park and having a picnic lunch, drive to the village of Mako for a walk along the bank of the Gambia river in search of hippos before continuing our route to Kedougou. Installation, dinner and overnight at the Bedik hotel in Kédougou.

Reserve Naturelle Communautaire de Dindefelo

After breakfast, departure for the discovery of the Bedik ethnic group. Visit the traditional Bédik village of Iwol perched on the heights (2 and a half hour walk, possibility of making part of the way by car). Then track to Peulh village of Dindéfelo. Upon arrival, walk across a path that will surprise you with its exuberance and small streams to reach the waterfall that you reach after 20 minutes. The water in this waterfall falls from a height of 80 m into a pool that reaches out to you for swimming. Picnic at the foot of the waterfall. Tambacounda

Departure from Kédougou to the village of Tomboronkoto. Attracted by the discovery of gold, this village today brings together a variety of nationals from various African countries in search of gold. Kaolack

After an early breakfast, we begin the ascent to Dakar. Stop for lunch at the "Relais de Kaolack" on the banks of the Saloum river. Road towards Dakar and arrival at the end of the afternoon.
