After greeting, we will have 40 mins drive to Miletus an ancient city located near the present Akköy at the mouth of the Buyuk Menderes (meander) River. Miletus owed its importance to its position on the trade routes. It was one of the largest cities in Anatolia with a population of between 80.000 and 100.000. Highly prosperous, it founded many colonies and was the home of the 6 BC philosophers Anaximander, Anaximenes and Thales, the town planner Hippodamus and architect of Hagia Sophia, Isidorus. Having a prominent position, Miletus became the most important port in this area and it was the most active member of the twelve cities of the Ionian Confederation. In the 7th century BC, Lydians besieged the city. The city was then controlled by Persians, Roman and Seljuk Turks.

5.00I cannot recommend this experience enough. We were a family group of five, one of whom had mobility issues. The guide, who was absolutely wonderful, was able to tailor our itinerary so that everyone had a great time, and we saw and did more than we expected. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. We all felt like a knowledgeable friend was showing us around.

5.00This tour was excellent. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very kind. He honored all our requests and was able to customize our tour as we hoped. We made it to Miletus,, Didyma, Ephesus without needing to wait. Researching this trip in advance we did not consider a visit to Terrace houses in Ephesus, but our guide already had tickets and exposition took our breath away. In his stories we heard true love for Türkiye, its history and people. If we are back to Kusadasi at a point in the future, we will definitely seek this tour company again. Thank you very much!

5.00The team has already been waiting for us. The organization was straightforward. The trip was very informative, we visited many interesting places and were able to take many pictures. So well the driver Volkan and the guide Mesut were very accommodating and sympathetic. All our wishes were fulfilled. The car was very modern, clean and air conditioned. Highly recommended.
