5.00We had a very informative tour of Pointe du Hoc, the American War Cemetery & Omaha's beach. Our guide Manon explained the significance of the place & events associated with the DDay landings in Normandy. Manon also was kind enough dropped us at the hotel although it was not included in the list of hotels eligible for drop offs. Overall it was a very memorable tour!!

5.00Adrian, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the many sites and details surrounding the D Day invasion. He told personal stories along with the details. We were late leaving Rouen so we emailed the company. We received an immediate response saying he would wait for us. We arrived and we then followed him via our car to park for free at the train station. He was very patient and understanding. Timing our arrival at the cemetery to coincide with the lowering of the flag made the visit especially poignant. To improve he might talk more about the cemetery before we arrived so we could experience it with more quiet time for reflection on the enormity of the locale.

5.00van was in excellent condition, saw main sites, guide answered all our questions and was a good conversationalist, excellent English, knew details of the area, had interesting stories and a well prepared photo book to show us what sites looked like previously, allowed us time to use the restroom. Twice.
