This was not an adventure, but a visit to the reindeer petting zoo

We booked this tour specifically for the buggy forest adventure, which was clearly advertised as an hour-long buggy ride through the forest, followed by the reindeer experience. This was the main reason we chose this tour and the part my daughter and I were most excited for. The night before, I received an email saying the transportation was being “upgraded” from a buggy to VIP transport. However, VIP transport is already included in the tour description. When I asked directly whether the buggy experience itself was still going ahead, I was reassured that “only the transportation to the reindeer park is changing” and that everything else remained the same. This wording made it sound as though the buggy forest adventure was still included, and that only the method of getting to the park had changed — not the experience itself. But the next day, we discovered that the buggy adventure had been removed entirely, and what we received was only a short reindeer-park visit. The reindeer park alone costs significantly less when booked directly, yet we were charged the full premium price of a combined buggy + reindeer experience + transportation. In effect, we paid for a premium, multi-part adventure and received only the lowest-value portion of it. I reached out multiple times for clarification and a partial refund for the service not provided, and received no response at all. The reindeer park itself was lovely, but the overall experience through the guide father did not match what was advertised or what was confirmed to me in writing, and the zero communication after the tour was very disappointing. Travellers should be aware that the experience delivered may not reflect what is promoted or assured especially when you’re paying up to 500 Euro.

A very nice experience to be so close to the reindeer and feed them with subsequent small meals. Our tour guide (Alexej) was able to tell very interesting stories about the city on the way out.

Very nice trip to the reindeer park. We were picked up at the hotel on time and our guide Alex was very accommodating, helpful and told us lots of information about Finland, culture and way of life in Finland. Very informative and interesting. Big praise to Alex. We felt very comfortable with him. A great guide. The experience with the reindeer was also very impressive. The staff very nice, we were allowed to feed the reindeer and afterwards there was tea in the "tipi" and we were allowed to bake sweet bread over the open fire. Afterwards we walked to a lookout point. Beautiful! All in all, a very successful trip, which I can recommend with a clear conscience.

Had a really memorable day, we were collected right on time, and taken to the park in a lovely spacious vehicle. Visiting the national park, walking and our guide was lovely explaining all the various things about the Finnish language and culture and connection to the forest. Later we visited a lake and onto the Reindeers. After a local coffee and cinnamon bun, and feeding the reindeer, we concluded our trip. Thank you so much for a memorable day, we very much enjoyed it.

Lovely Reindeer Experience Near Helsinki! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Such a unique and relaxing experience just outside Helsinki! The reindeer were calm and well cared for, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a peaceful sleigh ride and learned a lot about Finnish traditions. A great way to get a taste of Lapland without traveling far. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a wintery escape close to the

Bazar, our guide drove us to the Reindeer Park. It was about 50 minutes from downtown Helsinki and that gave us an insight to the Finnish countryside. It was a beautiful ride and the Reindeer feeding was an experience I won’t forget.

From our private pickup/transfer and meeting Russ/Ross to being introduced to the small reindeer herd, the farm hand allowed us to feed lichen to the herd, and then morning tea in the “teepee” making a small dough on stick morning refreshment - finished with a herbal tea. The drive back to Helsinki, and banter with our driver was also enjoyable

Our driver was very informative and friendly. He gave us great information regarding Finland. Once we got to the park we had a wonderful time feeding the reindeer. The lady at the place was very nice and gave us information on Reindeer.
