We sail from Tromsø Center, Floating Jetty just minutes from the mainstreet. While sailing / hunting, you can sit inside in our warm Panorama saloon while relaxing and looking at Tromsø Island from a Sea View.

The boat was fine. But we were the only 2 who had booked and the guide, Per, was very resentful and angry about having to do the cuise. He was rude when we asked basic questions following his safety talk. In the end we asked him to take us home early. Then once you have gone on this trip you get bombarded with spam emails from Arctic Cruises with no Unsubscribe button.

Our captain was a friendly man, that is about all I can say. This cruise never leaves the brightest part of town--not a good choice for seeing northern lights. On our evening, something was definitely suspicious because we turned up and were the only people on the cruise. It was very cold, even inside, and there was no program of information, very unlike any professional tour activity we have ever done. On our night, it was cloudy with no northern lights visible. So we cruised VERY SLOWLY for 2.5 hours in silence inside the cabin. Big waste of time and money. We were extremely sad because it was our last night in Tromso, so there was no chance of trying something different. I recommend you don't go for it.

Sailing the night sky looking for the northern lights, well that is what is advertised. Literally it became a short motor drive in the bay of Tromso, not even leaving the city light polluted areas to stay floating around looking for the northern lights. I was really disappointed in the proximity to the city. You might as well take a bus to the other side of the valley and take the bus back, the result would be the same.

Great location right at the Scandia hotel at the waterfront. The boat is very stable. They serve refreshment : chips, cookies and hot drinks. Exposure suits are available and animal skins to sit on. Small group of six or eight is the capacity.

We had a wonderful time on our cruise and had the opportunity to see the Northern Lights over Tromso. We especially appreciated the help we received when we were informed on the morning of our Arctic cruise that the Viking Cruise ship we were taking would depart early, before our Arctic cruise was scheduled to return. After explaining the problem, Kurt agreed to start and return 30 minutes early so we could board our Viking Cruise on time.

Excursion was as advertised it would he. Captain was personable enough, but never told us his name. Didn’t see the aurora, but it was, of course, not guaranteed that we would.

Actually iam not order this tour. This is replacement of the fjord tour with luxury ship, which they can't make it. But its ok since we are also having fun here. Pierre (correct me if iam wrong hearing) the driver and also our chef that night drive us to look the Trømso city scenery at night. He is serving us a snacks and hot beverages and also cook a fish soup which is delicious, when waiting for northern light. Thankfully, at the end of the tour, we saw the aurora, even its just a little bit. Still grateful can witness it on the middle of the city

Had a very good time onboard looking for the northern lights. Unfortunately we didn’t see the lights but not 100% of trips will be able to as we understand. We’ll have to try again.

My group of 4 took a ten day trip through Norway and Sweden, and at the end of the trip we unanimously decided that this cruise was the highlight of our travel. We were extremely lucky to have gotten a break in the weather, and being able to see the northern lights was an unforgettable experience. Even if we hadn't been able to see the lights, the boat trip was fun and relaxing and Captain Larsen took great care of us. He makes a great fish soup! I highly recommend this cruise to anyone visiting Tromsø.

I signed up at the last minute after a fellow traveler recommended them, and I'm so glad I did. The guide was great and the bus was comfortable. Our first stop to see the lights was so-so, but on the way back, the lights were really dancing, so the bus pulled over and we spent 15 glorious minutes watching the whole sky light up. I'd definitely recommend this company.
