Great guide and really looking for the dancing souls but the bus is terrible. Well organized and take care if the pre-details (timing, updates…)

Well organized Enterprise. Very attentive guide. However, the weather conditions prevented us from seeing the dawn. It is frustrating to go on a tour that has very low probability of viewing. They practically had no companies doing it, maybe because of the risk of frustrating customers. We know we depend on nature. I feel like I paid two days to just drive and in the second we barely got out of the car for the rain. When it is, it would be better to cancel. I'm giving 4 very due to the guide who worked hard but was also frustrated.

Unforgettable experience! The dawn hunt with Yellowknife Vacations was simply extraordinary — a memory we’ll keep forever. Our guide, Wilson, was extremely friendly, attentive and demonstrated great expertise, including with professional photos that recorded unique moments. We made the reservation via TripAdvisor and the transfer to the hotel was punctual and organized, which contributed even more to the experience. I highly recommend Yellowknife Vacations! The team’s extensive experience in the search for dawn makes all the difference and ensures a memorable night under the northern sky.

We took the tour and things went well. but we did not get the the pictures they took for us after more than a week back home. I called and they said would send me the download link, but so far, nothing. now cannot contact with them. ... is this because the "deal" is done and no more money to make from me?

It's a remarkable and wonderful tour of 4 days/3 nights via Yellowknife Vacation's service. All of our 10 friends are satisfied with the providing activities even the meals. We'll still look for Kris's assistance for the next trip for sure.

We had a poor experience that we wouldn’t wish on anyone else. The guide, Wilson, was willfully misleading about the existence of the Aurora, despite it not being there that night. He exclaimed to everyone that there was an Aurora right above our heads, and when we said that we couldn’t see it, he dismissively replied, “It’s there, and if you can’t see it, I guess everyone’s eyes are different.” What a thing to say. There simply wasn’t an Aurora on that night. And it was such a rude shock to be spoken to with such crassness and condescension. We went for another tour the following night that was miles better than the one we had with this company. They had a cabin for us to warm up, they had actual food for us, tripods to borrow to take the aurora on our own phones, and most importantly, we actually saw a beautiful and mesmerizing Aurora on the following night. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I had such an amazing time with Northern Lights Tours in Yellowknife! Our guide Halley was absolutely wonderful — friendly, funny, and so dedicated to making sure we all got the best view of the aurora. She kept checking the skies, drove us to the perfect spot, and made the whole night feel special. We had hot drinks, great conversations, and Halley took the most beautiful photos for everyone. The best part was when Halley and I started manifesting the lights together — and minutes later, they appeared! It felt magical, like the universe was listening. Thanks to her energy and kindness, it turned into one of the most unforgettable nights of my trip. I’d 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yellowknife — and definitely ask for Halley if you

Absolutely recommend it!! It was a cloudy night. Wilson, our guide, was amazing and positive and his constant enthusiam kept us going even when we didn't see anything. His judgement was excellent and he took decisions quickly about how much time to spend at each location. He gave us background about the Dene people, the history of mining. On the shores of Lake Prosperous, he and Rupinder served us hot chocolate and cookies. After we were done, Wilson went out to check and there were 2 brightening bands right above our heads. Then at the last stop we saw parts of the aurora where the cloud cover had slipped, glimpes of bright green. Thanks, W-i-l-s-o-n, you rock!
