4.00We booked the premium shared boat to Nusa Penida with four snorkeling stops, and while our guides were fantastic — friendly, attentive, and took plenty of great photos with their camera and GoPro — there were several parts of the experience that could be improved. At the first snorkeling spot, several of us were stung by sea lice (jellyfish larvae). It was painful and continued to irritate for days afterward, and we weren’t warned about this possibility ahead of time, which made it very uncomfortable. The second and third spots were much better — calmer waters, fewer crowds, and we even spotted sea turtles, which was amazing. After snorkeling, we had lunch on the island at a beautiful beach club-style restaurant with an infinity pool and preset menu — a nice touch. However, the hour-long drive up a very bumpy, narrow road to take a quick photo overlooking a cliff was honestly not worth it. The round trip took nearly 2.5 hours that could’ve been better spent relaxing or swimming. The final snorkeling stop for manta rays was the most concerning. The water was extremely rough and murky, and by that point, everyone was exhausted from being in the sun all day. This spot really should be earlier in the day when people are fresh and alert. The day ended beautifully, though — we cruised back to the mainland with bubbly and a sunset, which was the perfect way to wind down after a long day. Overall, a memorable experience with great guides, but with some reorganization, this trip could be so much better.

4.00the snorkeling spots and especially the Manta Rays were the best part of the day. I would give that 5* The road trip to the top of the island was so long, roads were rubbish for passing. At the view point it was bad for viewing and when you did they are consructing a monstrasity of an elevator. It spoilt it immensly. It then was a slow trip back to the boat. This was a 3*activity. The boat guys were excellent

5.00This tour was incredible. We had Nyoman and Arya as our guides and they were fantastic the whole time, as well as the rest of the crew. They made sure to explain each step of the tour well, and ensured the safety of their travellers by insisting on the group sticking together (we had a few people who wanted to run their own agendas). We saw thousands of beautiful tropical fish and a large turtle. While the mantas weren't around on our trip we still had a spectacular day. Thanks so much to Bluuu Tour's, especially Nyoman, Arya and our driver Ari who was also lovely. We would absolutely do this again.
