You'll hear legends, history and stories of the city, and see it's sites. Go at your own pace, anytime. Stop and go as you please. The tour is location aware, GPS, playing as you walk. Will not allow for changes in the order of the stops. Very hard to use if you don’t go in the order of the app. Not really a lot to see.

This tour exceeded my expectations. The GPS function worked perfectly and there was even an arrow to show which direction I needed to walk to get to the next stop in the tour. The narration was clear and concise and very interesting. I was in Nuuk as part of a cruise and this tour saved us hundreds of dollars compared to cruise sponsored excursions. The walk itself is easy and manageable for most anyone. This is a great introduction to Nuuk and I highly recommend it to anyone else visiting the city.

This walking app guided through Nuuk where I learned some of the Greenlandic stories and saw monuments to the stories as well as the scenery. The tour had continual narration as I went from one site to another, and most stops had more than just one place of interest. The pace was just right and the map in the app kept me on track. I did get lost a couple of times but I was able to find where I was and where I needed to be by switching to either Apple or Google maps. The app did stop a few times and I had to restart. The app has a virtual tour function where I could listen before going into Nuuk which I really appreciated since I didn’t have to stay at a site in the cold and wind. Listening to the details about the memorials and monuments was so much more interesting than just walking about and I would have missed so much. I appreciated the directions in the narration so I could just plug in headphones and put my phone in my pocket. I am directionally challenged though and needed to refer to the map a few times. Also, the app would stop once in awhile and I had to restart. Between the app and the maps, my phone lost battery power quickly and I was very sorry I didn’t take a power pack.

Information was all interesting. However the directions need to seriously update. With all the construction that is going on, some make no sense.

Wonderful walking tour full of information, especially Nuuk's long and fascinating history. The anecdotes about historical figures were very interesting, and it was a lovely, long walk. One note: We have no problems with stairs, but others in our age group (65-75) need to know that there is a very long stair climb (194 steps!) at the end of this tour.

Took a long time to download and start. Directions not always clear. But a good idea for Nuuk - a small tourist place with not a big tourist industry.

Excellent cultural and historical walking tour of the capital which is a very walkable city. Rug up warm even in Summer.

This is an excellent way to tour the city. It allows you to start and stop at your leisure without having to wait for or rush to be with a tour group. The information presented was extremely interesting and brought us to places we probably would have not seen otherwise. Highly recommend this company and their tours.

This was our first use of the app, walkntours, and one mistake was not downloading the complete tour prior to leaving the ship. We had to find internet in nuuk to downtown it. The second mistake was to sign off when a note stated you can come back to the tour anytime during that day but did not state with internet service, and again we had to find internet service. Once the tour was downloaded, both the narrative and maps were great and very informative. The tour offered the information via email, which I selected, but to date have not received it. These problems is why I only gave it a "4".
