Seated in the backseat of a vintage car, the trip is designed to evoke a nostalgic feeling for the vibrancy & history of NYC's roots. We provide the music, the costumes/props, and the magic! Each driver is dressed from the 1920's, and creates an educational, private and premium experience while visiting New York City.

1.00I arrived at the meeting point at 11am for a 11:30am tour. This was a surprise for my dad who loves classic cars and it was his first time in NYC. We were sitting there til 12:10pm. Nobody ever called to say that maybe the car broke down or maybe that there was a little delay. Messaged the tour operator and spoke to Viator twice during this time. Very disappointed! No response or call. Very irresponsible company. I expect a full $500 refund!

5.00Want to feel like a movie star? Book this tour and enjoy the sights of the city while cruising around in a 1930 Hudson 8. While you’re enjoying the sights, everyone you drive by will notice you and photo the car. Arnie was an excellent tour guide and loved to entertain the crowds with the “Oooga” of the old car horn.

5.00Absolutely fantastic! Could not encourage people enough to book this tour. We had the Chevrolet Superior K which is a glorious car! The ride was amazing, Arnie was the best guide and ever you could imagine. If your in NY then this is simply a must do!!

1.00Ripped Off!! I booked to go on this tour in "6th June 2025, and was charged for taking the tour on the 25th May 2025, (wheni was still in the UK). The advertised Telephone Number on thier advert is out of service, so you cannot contact them by phone!!!, I sent a Message by FB Messenger, and just got an automated reply a thanking me for taking the Tour(which I had not), Sent an e-mail and have not had a reply. They take your money and do not provide any service, and will not discuss with you, I would not recommend them to anyone, I believe they are are just scamming people!

5.00Wow - we can’t say enough good things about our driver Lee - he was just so great and beyond expectation in every way. He tailored the ride to what we wanted to see and even took us across the Brooklyn Bridge, which we were not expecting but were thrilled when it happened! Lee was a wealth of information about New York City and its history. He tailored the tour to our interests and made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. It’s no exaggeration to say that this tour checked off several bucket list items for both myself and my wife. Many, many THANKS to Lee and the team at Nowadays Tours!!!!

1.00Absolutely appalling service. Not only did the driver fail to show up, but I wasted time and money getting to the meetup point. Despite multiple calls to find out where the driver was, the operator seemed incompetent, unapologetic, and downright rude, even hanging up on me. To top it off, I received no email about the cancellation, leaving me stranded in the cold. This level of mismanagement and disgusting behavior is utterly unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.

1.00Our ride never showed up. We were told they were running about 10 minutes late. 30 minutes after scheduled start time we called and told them to forget it as we would now be late for our evening event.
