Attend a luau on Oahu produced by the Original World Fire Knife Dance Champion, Chief Sielu. During this 3 to 3.5-hour evening, immerse yourself in the island's culture while interacting up close and personal with the Chief's tribe of warriors and hula dancers. After a lei greeting, enjoy a cocktail and partake in a sumptuous Hawaiian feast that includes pineapple glazed chicken and kalua pork. Watch a Polynesian show and participate in activities like headband weaving and more.

Chief's Luau
Chief's Luau is excited to announce it has moved to its permanent custom built home at Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii! Chief Sielu himself custom designed the new facilities at Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii to make the perfect home for Chief's Luau. The new luau grounds feature a stunning 50-foot backlit cascading waterfall to tie in the island surroundings.

5.00The Chief was hilarious and kept the entire crowd active and laughing the whole show. The food was amazing (Get extra fish! I promise it’s so good), servers were attentive, activities were so fun even for an adult. And the drinks were really good too! Don’t forget to get a tattoo while you wait to dine.
Chief's is hands down the best Luau and the best people!!!

5.00This was a wonderful luau, very entertaining and informative. I would highly recommend this luau. For me this was much more than just a Luau. I decided to do a surprise proposal at this luau, and Chief's were more than accommodating. I emailed them months in advance, and they were so happy to help me. They made this the most memorable experience we had in Hawaii. I was invited on stage and given the microphone and allowed to propose in front of the entire crowd, and then we danced on stage! I can't thank Chief's enough for all they did to make our special day the most memorable day ever.

3.00The show itself was everything I was hoping for—beautiful, engaging, and full of culture. The dancers were fun to watch, the storytelling was meaningful, mixed in with moments of humor. The fire show was definitely the highlight of the entire evening. Unfortunately, the environment really took away from that experience. The luau is set within a water park, and it’s hard to ignore. You’re sitting on plastic chairs and tables, surrounded by water slides. The restroom conditions are exactly what you’d expect them to be like after a full day at a water park - gross. The food was okay, but not memorable, and the drink options were limited. There was also a constant emphasis on which package you purchased—it dictated which line to stand in, when you’re allowed to get food, and even what type of lei you receive. There were frequent announcements explaining logistics and upsells, including pushing commemorative photos before dinner had even started. It created an unnecessarily tiered and transactional vibe. The whole experience left me feeling a little sad, honestly. The performers are talented and clearly take pride in what they do, but the setting and structure made it feel more like a commercial production than a meaningful cultural experience. I know I chose to buy the tickets, but I didn’t expect it to feel quite this manufactured.

5.00Our family of 8 had an outstanding time. Fabulous entertainment and loved the humor as well as learning so much about the local culture. Inclusion of the audience was a plus and the food/drinks were better than expected. Was very glad that it was a smaller venue (but not too small). Definitely recommend.

5.00We had an amazing time at the Chiefs Luau. The entire team was incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. This felt like a truly authentic luau experience, with the Chief adding just the right amount of humor throughout the evening. The fire spinning finale was breathtaking and the perfect way to end the night. Highly recommend!
