Book the Oahu Shark Dive for a thrilling shark encounter off the North Shore. You’ll travel by boat from Haleiwa Harbor, then view sharks from a secure cage, with clear water offering excellent visibility. No swimming skills are required. Crew members are experienced and focus on guest safety, and you can choose to watch the action from the boat if you prefer to stay dry.

Observers and divers will be on the same boat, as long as they have booked the same time slot.

What To Expect
You’ll snorkel in a secure aluminum cage about three miles off the North Shore, where you can see Galapagos and Sandbar sharks clearly in their natural habitat. The cage floats at the surface, so you don’t need to swim—just hold on to the bars and watch the sharks up close. All snorkel gear is provided, and trained crew members are there to ensure your safety and answer any questions.

5.00Amazing tour! We saw at least 15 sharks that continued to swarm our boat the entire time. The guides were absolutely wonderful too. Knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a cooler adventure.

5.00Matty and Martin hands down the best, good people right there. Knowledgeable, and very easy to approach type people. They even took a little extra time so we could get better pictures of spinner dolphins and a few humpback whales. My wife didn’t do the shark dive but she said Matty and Martin answered all her questions and then some while I was in the cage. We did the 7am trip on 4/15/26, when we arrived it took maybe 30-60 seconds and they had over 20 sharks circling the boat. I couldn’t believe it. We did a lot of tours even did the manta ray night snorkel but this shark swim made the trip for us. Tip Matty and Martin well as they go above and beyond. I’m sure their other tour guides are awesome too but when we go back I will ask for those two.

5.00So majestic and amazing. I do wish that our tour guide was a bit more informative. They told us they would tell us about the strike when we got there and then basically just told us to get in the cage and start seeing things. I knew what to expect because I am a shark fanatic, but others might be a bit more scared and not know what type of sharks are seeing in fear that they might see a great white or something like that.

5.00This experience was amazing! My sister and law and I loved the boat ride and were blown away by the sharks. They came very close to the cage but were never aggressive. The water was warm and clear and the crew was very positive and kind in their instruction. Would absolutely do this experience again!
