We had the most incredible time on the ocean safari yesterday! Our boat was led by Liam, and it was such a fun, bumpy ride, an experience you’d pay for on its own elsewhere. You could immediately tell that the team absolutely love what they do. Lachie briefed and suited us up at the start of the day, giving a really detailed explanation of how everything would run. He then took us snorkeling, where we saw sea turtles, so many tropical fish, and the most stunning coral I’ve ever seen. Keanna was a fountain of knowledge about the Great Barrier Reef, sharing so many interesting facts throughout the day. And Franny, even though he wasn’t officially working, came along and added even more fun to the experience. The whole team genuinely cared about our safety and made sure we had the best possible time. Afterward, we got along so well that we even joined a local pool competition at PKs across the road and ended up staying another day! I can’t recommend Ocean Safari enough. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lauren & Stephen

Despite the average weather conditions early morning we were met with sunlight and aqua blue water on our arrival to Mackay reef. It was beautiful amongst the coral and different fish and lucky enough to see a few turtles as well. Our guides Lachie and Isaac were knowledgeable, funny and looked after us from start to finish. Highly recommend, we had an amazing time! 🤙🏼

Mr Rajesh is a very helpful and quick attentive Bell Captain at Furama Riverfront Hotel. He always attends to patrons quickly and very cheerful. The Management should reward such good staff when such staff is such rarity. I noticed he did it to all on his own accord and manner. Very cool man! Faizal in the Waterfall Lounge Cafe is very careful and attentive staff to take orders from patrons, and make sure we are satisfied with our food and special discounts to be given to hotel guests, although the check-in guest staff did not tell them about the 20% discount given to dining in guests.

A great day out. You feel safe with Liam in charge of the boat & Kiyana was knowledgeable about the reef. Love the small numbers the boat holds & the drive to Cape Trib is just incredible. Highly recommend

Superb experience. Very knowledgable and absolutely well worth the money. Saw turtles, rays, giant clams plus many that I can’t name. The reef was out of this world. The staff were great but I cannot remember their names. A massive thank you and thumbs up 👍 👍

Brilliant snorkeling trip visiting two reefs. A guided snorkeling tour was included (other tour providers charge additional for this) as well as over an hour of free snorkeling time / beach time. We saw turtles, clown fish, sting rays and lots more! Would definitely recommend to anyone in North Queensland.

This is our second trip with Ocean Safari and again it was fantastic. We left Port douglas at 6am for a 1.5hr drive to Cape Tribulation. The drive was pleasant, with very little traffic and the scenarie was beautiful, especially once we crossed rhe Daintree River by ferry. From our arrival, check in and warm welcome to the awesome boat ride out to the reef, Ocean Safari surpassedall our expectations. The staff, in particular the skipper Liam and our guide Kiyana were brilliant, helpful and knowledgeable, a big thank you. In regards to the tour, the snorkelling was great, we saw giant clams, turtles, sting rays lovely corals, fish galore and even a black tip shark. We had two stops, with the highlight being a walk along the sand atoll. I highly recommend Ocean Safari if you want to experience the reef (and the rainforest) there is no better way to do it.

The staff were able to accommodate us last minute despite a failed online booking (GetYourGuide did not transfer our booking to Ocean Safari). We had a wonderful experience with a really nice crew and saw a variety of fishes, clams, starfish and see turtle amongst the beautiful reef on a gorgeous day. Totally worth the money. Thanks

Had a fantastic day with Kiana and Liam . Liam drove the boat with ease and Kiana was a very informative guide. One of the best family days we have ever had. I loved the small numbers, under 30 of us, the attention to detail was great. As a beginner swimmer , I was encouraged to take a jacket which allowed me to completely relax and swim around for an hour safely. I will definitely book this trip when I am next passing this way again.
