You will drive our karts through the famous Shibuya Crossing dressed up in character costume from Comics, Games or Anime. Many on-lookers will wave at you and take photos of you making you feel like a celebrity.

On our Shibuya course, you will also drive through Harajuku and Omotesando which is the origin of Japanese pop fashion.

You can come solo and join others to tour in a group of maximum 6 drivers.

Our activity is a completely guided tour by our well trained guides.

Our guides will keep you safe and make sure you have an extraordinary experience.

Our guides will take as many photos possible and give you the data at the end of your tour.

**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.

ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)

Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan

Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport

Minimum age is 18 years

Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.

**ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.

You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Street Kart Shibuya provided a great experience as beginning to end. They started with an introductory safety video and our leader, Ryuya, explained how we should drive and the hand signals he would use. Ryuya started us out slow making sure we had a good handle on how the street kart operated. The course was relatively easy as we primarily made left turns and hugged the left side of the street. Ryuya had us stop in two lane formation so that he could get great pics of us. We ended the ride at their shop and he handed out a souvenir picture of us. After he air dropped the photos, we quickly realized how many photos he shot. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Japan! We appreciate Ryuya as our leader and we recommend Street Kart Shibuya.

My partner loves rides like this and I was hesitant cause I get nervous driving in the opposite side of what I’m used to driving - I can tell you that I LOVED this - Michael our street guy was excellent and gave us clear instructions at all times - my only recommendation to anyone is that they have goggles - use them - I didn’t and felt dust kept going into my eyes. Thank you for the experience guys - your ride was excellent

Every cent was worth this experience. The guys were friendly, funny and know what they are doing. After a quick introduction you already start the engines :) We were able to choose from a large variety of costumes, one for the ride. They have costumes from Pokemon, Naruto, but also from the tradition Mario Kart. Our guide was professional and showed us Shibuya from a different angle :)
