You will drive our karts through the famous Shibuya Crossing dressed up in character costume from Comics, Games or Anime. Many on-lookers will wave at you and take photos of you making you feel like a celebrity.

On our Shibuya course, you will also drive through Harajuku and Omotesando which is the origin of Japanese pop fashion.

You can come solo and join others to tour in a group of maximum 6 drivers.

Our activity is a completely guided tour by our well trained guides.

Our guides will keep you safe and make sure you have an extraordinary experience.

Our guides will take as many photos possible and give you the data at the end of your tour.

**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.

ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)

Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan

Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport

Minimum age is 18 years

Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.

**ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.

You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The Shibuya Kart tour was easy and well organized. Check-in was quick and everything went smoothly. The guide was in a good mood and did his job well, keeping the group together and making the ride feel safe and relaxed. Driving through Shibuya was a nice way to see the area from a different perspective. Overall, it was a solid experience and worth doing.

Good experience driving through streets of Shibuya. Staff were engaging and looked after us before and during our visit, creating a safe and happy atmosphere. Length of visit was about right for the admission fee, although was surprised when additional cost was raised to cover insurance. Would have expected insurance to be included in total cost. Crowd size was good with only 4 of us in the group, and streets weren't overly busy so allowed us to experience top speed of karts.
Driving on the road is very exciting. It is also fun to dress cartoon dress!

Manuel was our guide and he was brilliant. He made sure we were safe and knew what we needed to do when. He showed us round various areas of Shibuya Crossing giving little tips and tricks of where to go. We even got to drive through Shibuya Crossing a few times! We would highly recommend doing this if you are in Tokyo it’s a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Manuel and the Street Kart team!
