You will drive our karts through the famous Shibuya Crossing dressed up in character costume from Comics, Games or Anime. Many on-lookers will wave at you and take photos of you making you feel like a celebrity.
On our Shibuya course, you will also drive through Harajuku and Omotesando which is the origin of Japanese pop fashion.
You can come solo and join others to tour in a group of maximum 6 drivers.
Our activity is a completely guided tour by our well trained guides.
Our guides will keep you safe and make sure you have an extraordinary experience.
Our guides will take as many photos possible and give you the data at the end of your tour.

**ALL GROUP BOOKINGS SHOULD AVOID BOOKING INDIVIDUALLY as there will be no guarantee that you can join together.
ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport
Minimum age is 18 years
Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
**ATTENTION: If your group is more than 6 drivers, your group will split into 2 smaller groups with a guide leading each group.
You MUST inform us if you have any level of hearing impairment or mobility impairment.

5.00Our guide: Aziz was fantastic. He stepped us through all the safety expectations and drove us through Scramble crossing at Shibuya 3 times. The entire drive lasts 35-40 minutes. Aziz looked after us so well. He gave clear instructions and he took heaps of photos which he airdropped to our phones at the end. My hubby was on the biggest high after this. It’s was such a fun thing to do. Just remember you can only book online (no walk ins & no cash) and you must have your international permit with you (so organise this at home well before you come). We would highly recommend Street Karts.

1.00Had the entire trip planned a month in advance. International Driving Permit was acquired and available both digitally and with printed in hand PDF version. The IDP is valid in Japan yet this company refused to accept. Viator did not include these requirements in their description at all. Disappointed birthday celebration and overall embarrassing.

5.00We had Clinton as our guide. He was great and interactive with use prior and during the tour. Plenty of photo opportunities! Gave us a lot of information regarding laws and culture too! It all ran smoothly, the route was perfect, not having too much traffic to be able to enjoy the drive!

5.00This was incredibly fun and the best way to see Shibuya at night. Not all the walking in the massive crowds. You get to drive through it all and watch. The go karts and costumes are amazing. I have been wanting to do this for years in my trips to Japan (twice a year) and this was the first time I did it because my 18yr old nephew came with me. I would do it again, may be even every trip. Street Kart Shibuya is professional and explain everything to you and they make sure your safety is most important.
