Really nice canoe ride to the mangroves in subtropical rain. Special thanks to Shaggy as my personal guide in English 😎

We had a very nice experience! Our guide Ryoma was very patient and kind. He did a lot of nice photos of us and shared them afterwards with us and explained also a lot about the mangroves. I can only recommend the tour!

Ryoma is a very dedicated, patient, and professional guide. He explained everything clearly in English throughout the whole tour, and always answered our questions carefully. He also helped us take photos all the time, which we really appreciated. Since most people in our group were foreigners, even though some could speak a little Japanese, he still chose to communicate in English so everyone could understand. I joined the tour by myself, but the whole experience felt very relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend joining this tour!

Thank you for being flexible because our ferry was cancelled were too late for the morning tour, but once we arrived and contacted the company they could add us to another group so we could do the mangrove tour right away! We were happy with that. The tour was well organized. The guide makes photos during the tour for you. He explains in english about the island and its mangroves. The mangroves were beautiful. I wish we canoed a bit further and longer. After the tour we could take a quick shower before they dropped us back at the port.

My family and Ryoma's guide took part in a mangrove canoe cruise experience. It was a very fulfilling time with careful guidance! Thank you very much, Mr. Ryoma!

I went to Iriomote Island for the first time, and I had my first canoeing experience on a mangrove. The canoe didn't go as well as I thought at first, and I struggled, but by the end I was learning to handle the paddle well. The weather was clear on that day, and the mangroves under the blue sky were very beautiful with clear water. Thank you, Seta, for the easy explanation and photo shoot.

Sota and Hiro were charismatic, on time, capable, and fun. We learned much about the mangroves and enjoyed the personalised experience. We had booked a different tour, but the weather precluded it; instead of cancelling the company proactively provided us with options - not many would have, and we got a better experience so well done team. They knew what they were doing, were considerate and helpful. Equipment was in good shape. Totally worth taking a tour with this company.

A very enjoyable paddle through the mangroves. The tour is advertised as half day and you’re on the water for ~1hr. Our guide Shogo was full of positive energy and provided interesting information about the mangroves in quality English (he was bouncing between English and Japanese on this tour - quite a feat!) He was helpful to a lady who had never paddled before and attached her kayak to his. Note: you must paddle across the main river to reach the mangrove area - if it’s windy it could be difficult. My only complaint about this tour - and I suspect it’s the same for all companies - solo travellers want a single kayak, not a double! (at least I wasn’t paired with a stranger)
