Our all-inclusive tours offer more than just beer: we’ll explore Munich’s rich history, starting with Karls Gate and a stop at a traditional beer hall or garden to dive into local beer culture.

What To Expect
Karlsplatz
The meeting point of our tours is at Karlsplatz (Stachus) underneath the Karls Gate. Here we greet our guests with a welcome gift and get to know each other a little bit. At this historical important square our guests will get to know more about the rich history and culture of Munich.
Augustinerkeller
Food and Drinks served in a traditional Bavarian Beer Garden / Hall. You will learn about the History of Munich beer brewery and experience the Bavarian beer culture.

5.00We had such a great time with Beer & Pretzel Tours. The guides had amazing energy and were genuinely passionate about what they were sharing — not just running through a script. You could tell they really cared that we got the real Oktoberfest experience, not just dropped off at a tent to drink. Everything had a personal touch, from the small details before we entered the festival to how they looked after everyone in the group. They were also super respectful toward the waiters and waitresses at the tent — that really stood out. Seeing the crowds, I’m sure booking a tour was the best decision. Even though I speak German, the cultural cues can be tricky, and without the reserved spots it would’ve been impossible to really enjoy it. I was skeptical about “needing” a table to have fun, but once you’re there you realize the experience just isn’t the same if you’re standing and wandering around

5.00My first time at Oktoberfest couldn't have been better! Michelle and Christine were wonderful guides. They explained Bavarian traditions and culture to us, as well as the origins of this festival. We had a table inside the tent where we could eat traditional food and drink beer. So if you’re thinking to go, Oktoberfest It's an experience you have to have once in your life and doing it with Beer&Pretzel tours even better. Danke and Prost! 🍻

5.00Christine and Michelle were great guides, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience overall, despite the fact that day the Octoberfest was closed temporarily for a bomb threat. But they made the absolute best out of that tough situation, and everyone was compensated with the option of another tour the next day. Definitely the best way to experience Oktoberfest for solo travellers, tourists or anyone interested in history or beer culture.

5.00A dream come true. I could have never imagined a better time without The Beer & Pretzel tour. Exceeded all expectations. We will be back. The tour from start to finish made Oktoberfest the best. The Augustiner tour, the food, the beer, the HB tent. All of it. Even the weather!! The history explained made the experience even more special. Prost!

The perfect tour if it’s your first time going to Oktoberfest, it really takes the stress out of the day as you get to follow them and there’s no stress in finding a table as they have one booked ready and waiting :) I loved learning all of the history and all of the tips and etiquette about Oktoberfest!
