What To Expect
Old San Juan
We will start with an early pick-up at your lodging to head to the quintessential town of Old San Juan, considered one of the oldest in America, and a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Beginning with a sightseeing drive, including picture stops, will give you the chance to appreciate the landmarks of the Capitol Building, San Cristobal Fort and El Morro Fort. Then as we began the walking tour, you will learn about Old San Juan’s fascinating history, unique forts, the city walls, the impressive architecture and admire its cobblestones streets and charming colorful houses, surrounded by amazing views to the San Juan Bay. Now with a better insight of Old San Historical Site, will enter the San Cristobal Fort for a guided tour about the importance of its defense system against military attacks throughout the centuries. This is one of the few tours and companies to include a certified tour guide accompanying you inside the forts for a more in-depth experience. After all this exploration is time to have a well-deserved authentic lunch and a little bit of shopping time (half hour) before returning to your hotel.

5.00We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Puerto Rico As a Local. This private tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip. It was just our group of three couples, which made the entire day feel personal, relaxed, and perfectly tailored to us. We started with a walking tour of Old San Juan, followed by a beautiful drive through the rainforest and lunch at an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant that ended up being the best meal of our entire vacation. Our guide, Yamile, was exceptional. She is unbelievably knowledgeable about the history of Puerto Rico and brought everything to life in an engaging and fun way. She also had our entire group laughing throughout the day. Her energy made the experience very memorable. She was also incredibly flexible. We made several changes to the timing and itinerary, and she handled everything seamlessly and graciously, making sure the day still felt perfectly curated for our group. If you want a personalized, authentic, and genuinely memorable way to experience Puerto Rico, this is it. Highly recommend!

5.00Visiting San Juan with family and friends to celebrate SIL birthday and we wanted a comprehensive tour that hit all the high spots as well as orient us with ideas for the rest of the week and this tour checked all the boxes. 5.00I had an amazing time in Old San Juan. I went on a nice ride on a scooter to get there. The murals were breathtaking and the scenery was unreal. The amount of beauty that this place holds has to be experienced in person. Photos do it no justice! The locals are inviting and informative, and they have lots of suggestions on where I should go while I was visiting. I’d definitely return for another visit and I most definitely recommend the entire experience.

5.00We appreciated the suggestion to try and found a restaurant serving Mofongo, a plantain based dish. We asked for it with local seafood. A Very tasty meal outside in a little square near the cruise ship terminal.
