Jesús was an incredible tour guide. He even took us on a slight detour to make sure we got to see some iguanas along the way. Jesus informed us about the history of the area, of the food, and the culture. The food was delicious as well. We never felt rushed and he made sure to tailor our experience based on our likes and dislikes or restrictions.

Amazing experience—truly a taste of Jalisco at its finest! Our guide, Joana, was incredibly informative and upbeat, bringing each dish to life by explaining its role in everyday Mexican culture. We did have a small issue with cruise timing and the time difference in Puerto Vallarta, but Viator stayed in constant contact, and Joana went above and beyond by meeting us right at the cab. Everything was seamless despite the hiccup, and it made the experience even more memorable. I can’t wait to come back and do this again!

It was a great experience! We decided to do it last minute and it didn’t disappoint us. Brenda our tour guide was excellent, super knowledgeable about everything along our route, not just the food. I would highly recommend this for people wanting to try different dishes. Been to Puerto Vallarta before and the places we ate at on the tour, we walked by before and never really looked at, so it certainly opened our eyes to what we have missed.

This was hands down our best day on our trip. Our guide was Al and he not only took us to delicious food, he was a wealth of knowledge from history, to local plants...we learned so much.

This is the second time that I have taken this food tour through Vallarta Food Tours, on both occasions, I have had an exceptional experience. Not only is the food fantastic, my guides have been energized, well informed on the food/restaurant and extremely friendly. My most recent guide, Silvia, made our experience even more enjoyable. We had a family member that had some allergies and Silvia went out of her way to ensure she still experienced all the wonderful food. I recommend this company and this tour for anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta. It's a great way to tour the town while enjoying some local, authentic food.

Had a great time with Al. He made the experience smooth and interesting, navigating potential closures for the holiday we booked our tour on with ease. Delicious variety of food - will be thinking about that goat birria taco for a long time.

Edgar was our tour guide (like a very good “substitute teacher,” he was called in to replace a guide who had called in sick) who greeted us at the Cardenas Park pavilion — where we embarked on a three hour tour of Zona Romantica. Among the eight stops were a variety of authentic “street food experiences.” He was informative/knowledgeable, helpful and friendly all along the way.:)
