Wines from the Oliver & Osoyoos area include the Golden Mile and Black Sage Bench. The wines are distinct and recognized as B.C.'s first wine sub-region due to the unique climate, soil types, and wine styles.
The wines are imbued with unique flavours, tastes, aromas, and minerality found nowhere else.
Hot summer sun and dry, arid climate create ideal conditions for late-ripening premium red grapes to thrive!

What To Expect
Tinhorn Creek Vineyards
Enjoy a seated tasting of four (4) wines on an outdoor patio overlooking vineyards and the sweeping panorama of the South Okanagan valley.
Hester Creek Estate Winery
Our guide will accompany you to the Wineshop and arrange for your tasting. Enroute and prior to arriving at the winery our guide will provide some background and details about the winery.

5.00We did a private full day tour with Frank and it was great! He picked us up at our hotel and had arranged a day full of tours and a great lunch at Hester Creek. We had a bit of a change in our schedule of what times we wanted to go to a certain vineyard and he completely accommodated our last minute change and arranged it all with the vineyards on our behalf. It was Very easy in terms of pulling right up to the door of each place and then collecting us - no long walks to vans out in the hot back parking lots etc. He was entertaining and informative and patient with our requests. Overall great day!

4.00Christian, our driver, was engaging and educating. Pacing was okay. I’d say 3 of the 5 wineries were good, especially liked Black Hills and Hester Creek. Riverstone winery was disappointing, expected better and the hostess hovering over us was uncomfortable. (I should have insisted on Maverick or Burrowing Owl as I had initially inquired). Tinhorn lunch and tasting also just ‘meh’. Again, Christian was a peach and highly recommend.

5.00We had a great experience with our tour. Picked up promptly from our hotel in Kelowna to start our trek to Oliver. Beautiful drive in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle. Our driver Sach (aka Larry)was very knowledgeable and engaging. We arrived promptly to our first winery and enjoyed the visits at the five wineries we visited. We also had a chance to see the views from another amazing winery not on our tour. Each winery was unique and offered us the tastings we had hoped for … reds.. cabs… merlots. Return home was safe and efficient.

5.00My girlfriends and I did a weekend trip up to Oliver and we did the Golden Mile Wine Tour with Christian. He was very knowledgeable about Oliver and the wineries in that area. He made sure that the wineries we went to were what we were looking for (mainly white wines and bubbly) and he definitely did an awesome job because we really enjoyed the wineries. Christian was super friendly and gave us great suggestions on which wineries to head up the next time we come back to Oliver. Highly recommend Sagebush Tours!
