This tour is a great possibility to visit Skopje during your trip to Bulgaria. You will get acquainted with the Macedonian history and generally with the historical and political points of our region. Skopje is worth to be visited in one day and you can use the occasion to see it while in Sofia. It is easy to book and with our guides you will feel safe and comfortable. The guide will give you information also on places where you can taste local food or buy some local stuff. A tour worth to be done.
Please note: We, the Bulgarian guides are not authorized to provide guiding service in North Macedonia. That is why the guide will give you enough information in the car, but on spot will not act as a guide and you will explore the central part on your own.

What To Expect
8 am - Pick up from your hotel or airbnb address. Departure to the Bulgarian-Macedonian border. 10 am -Arrive at the border and clear formalities. 11 am - Cross the border and proceed to Skopje. Change the clock one hour behind. 12 o`clock - Arrive in Skopje. Take a sightseeing tour of the Old town for two hours. 2 pm - End of the tour. Free time for lunch and free time. 3:30 pm - Departure to the Macedonian - Bulgarian border. 5:30 pm - Arrive at the border. Clear border formalities. Change the clock with one hour ahead. 7 pm - Cross the border and proceed to Sofia. 9 pm - Drop off in your hotel or airbnb address. End of service.

5.00The ride is long, it is scenic, border crossing, and there is really different flavor in Skopje. We loved walking around Macedonia Square and I also highly recommend the North Macedonia Holocaust Museum. The town is very walkable and we also enjoyed the Kale Fprt, the Old Bazaar, and Mother Theresa’s house. Our tour guide/driver was the best!! Highly recommended for any day trip or excursion. All in al a 5/5!!

5.00I had an amazing private tour, even though I booked small group. The tour guide was very nice and showed me around in Skopje. Since it was very hot in july, I got tired towards the end and was ready to head back. Then he asked if I wanted to go to Matka Canyon since we had a little extra time left, and I also got to visit that beautiful place. I enjoyed the entire day a lot! Also, a big plus what that the tour guide was very polite and always asked for my needs. I would recommed this to anyone wanting to go to Skopje.
