What To Expect
Kegety Gorge
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel, and we’ll head to Kegety Gorge straight away (1.5 hours). Driving through the picturesque mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Kegety, you’ll be offered a pair of trekking poles, and we’ll start our trek to Kol Tor (8 km one way or 3-5 hours).
Kol-Tor Lake
The trek is considered a “medium” level, and the path goes mostly uphill with some flat parts in between. Reaching the turquoise lake, which is situated at an altitude of 2700 m above sea level. Enjoying the lake’s beauty, having a nice picnic, and walking around. After spending some wonderful time at the lake, we’re starting to descend again. We hopped in our car, and now we have time to relax while driving back to Bishkek (1.5 hours). Drop off at your hotel upon arrival in the city. End of the tour. Have a fascinating evening!

5.00We went to the top of the world (or near enough) to see the strange and magical opaque lake nestled between beautiful snowy mountains. Sher was our kind, funny, interesting and informative guide, who made the experience unforgettable. It’s a big hike and a full day but would 100% recommend.

You are walking through stunning unspoiled nature and at the end you reach the highlight of the trip: Kol Tor lake with crystal clear bright blue water. Ash was a great tour guide and very dedicated to create a perfect customer experience. I can recommend Ventura Tours a 100%, they are highly professional in every sense.
