Great place to see bears! They are a sanctuary helping bears and also educating people on the struggles of captive bears in Romania. On our visit we've seen 25-30 different bears of different ages from little ones to full grown massive ones as well as deer, wolfs, and a fox.

The tour was great - the communication with the tour guide was very good, the pick-up was on time and the drive from place to place was smooth. Keep in mind that for each of the places (Bran castle & Bear sanctuary) you will enter by yourself - but that's ok. The Bear Sanctuary has their own guide, tickets need to be bought in advance). Bran Castle was not too crowded - we also visited the Torture Museum, which was quite interesting as well. The Rasnov fortress is currently closed, but it was still nice to see and enjoy the view from the top (and even play some of the games around it, which was quite fun). Our tour guide waited for us patiently to explore as we wanted, take photos etc. - we didn't feel rushed from one place to the next. He also shared some info for each of the places before going in. We would definitely recommend the tour, especially if you don't have a car or don't want to drive yourself.

The bear sanctuary is at once poignant due to the former suffering of the rescued bears, and heartening thanks to their new environment. Bran Castle is a fascinating window on several centuries of Romanian history. Catalin is a very knowledgeable and affable guide. All good!

It was an excellent day trip where it felt like a private taxi tour around lovely Braşov. Our guide was friendly and helpful and was always waiting for us, being flexible with timings and giving us great advice. Would definitely recommend!

It was lovely! Our guide Cătălin was very kind and very knowledgable about all the tour stops. It was nice to go in a small group and have such a personal experience. The highlight for me was the Libearty Bear Sanctuary, but Bran Castle was a close second! Be sure to wear confortable walking shoes because you will be doing a lot of walking and stairs. Maybe bring a snack and a water.
