What To Expect
Yangmingshan National Park is located in northern Taipei City, and easily accessible from downtown. Spanning 114SQ. KM the area is home to numerous parks, hiking trails, interesting plants and wildlife, and the internationally famous hot springs. ach season brings a different type of beauty to the area. February and March are the flowering season, and rhododendrons and cherry blossoms cover the mountain slopes to welcome the spring. Summer brings winds from the southwest with occasional showers and thunder in the afternoon, creating amazing weather effects in the mountains. By October, the mountains are covered with silver grass and the golden red colour of maple leaves. Rainbows can be seen after misty autumn rains. Winter time has unique scenery as well since monsoons bring a cold drizzle that create seas of clouds that look like a fantasy world, with the possibility of snow falling on cold days.

5.00Had a great trip today with our guide Sean. Comfortable car with a great driver! We changed our itinerary a bit since we wanted to take a hot water spring bath. Sean was very accommodating, changed our schedule to fit, and found us a good bathhouse as well! Had a super lunch at one of the best restaurants I tried in Taipei. Very fresh, and tasted excellent! Too bad the weather was very cloudy, and we did not see much of the volcano. Sean was enthusiastic with the kids too, answered all the questions and gave the kids some activities! Everyone had a really good time. Thanks Sean!

5.00We visit this NP with our tour guide and driver, David, and this is the most memorable tour we have in Taipei city. We really enjoy free foot hot spring and beautiful alpine mountain views. Seeing the active volcano first hand is the highlight of the tour. Tamsui old street is full of delicious food like fish ball soup and steam bum. Try this tour package and you will definitely like it. Our tour guide and driver, David, is so good that he walks with us and tells the interesting stories about the places. Thumbs up for his service.
