Join us for a one-and-a-half-hour dolphin cruise and enjoy an up-close look at our resident pod. Between 50 and 70 dolphins call our bay home, and over the years we’ve gotten to know many of them by their unique dorsal fins. Aboard The Explorer, our 40' pontoon-style vessel, we’ll introduce you to these playful friends. Dolphin sightings are guaranteed—if you don’t see any, your next trip is free! This experience is perfect for families or anyone looking for a dolphin-focused adventure in Orange Beach. Our knowledgeable guides can identify many of the dolphins and share fun facts about their behavior, habitat, and relationships within the pod.

We have done this quite a few time and CAPTS always surf dolphins and what we always read on Grok or chat GDP that dolphins absolutely love surfing because like a playground and there’s no harm to the dolphins. They actually enjoy it. So my question is Why would you stop having the captains surf dolphin? Just curious because the captain we had was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and knowledgable in dolphin’s . CAPT SMITTY ! Was a great capt thank you. We still go out couple times a year.

The staff were very kind and knowledgeable. Not an over crowded boat ride like some of the other events. We got to see a couple dolphins not as many as we were hoping to see.

Took our grandchildren to see the dolphins, saw only two but the sailing and crew were great. The kids want to make it an annual event.

I was disappointed as I was expecting information on the area to include the dolphins. With the exception of the brochure's written information, very little was mentioned. On the plus side, toward the end, the other passengers to include my family enjoyed and danced to some lively music.

Captain Len is knowledgeable and personable. His crew Bella & Elena were so pleasant! This is only our 2nd time in Gulf Shores and we are looking forward to next year and taking another cruise on the Explorer.

Boat holds less people than other offerings, making it much less crowded and maximizing viewing opportunities. It seems like we saw the same 2 dolphins over and over again!! Our 2 year old grandson enjoyed it and we felt was very safe in the boat !
