Not only did we learn about Barbados, its foods, and culture, we also learned so much detail about fruits, vegetables, and herbs that we will appreciate long after we leave the island. What I most appreciated was visiting markets and restaurants that we would not have found on our own. Janelle, our tour guide was extraordinary! Thank you!

Paulette did a fantastic job on educating us on living and eating Bajan style. It was "Lickrish", with flavors of spices that enhanced normally bland food. Even food that contained scotch bonnet peppers weren't overwhelmingly spicy, but tasty. We walked around local produce vendors where Paulette pointed out different kinds of produce and how they are prepared; some we are familiar with, others, we've never tasted. Favorites were fish fritters, lentil fritters, peas and rice, and ginger lemonade. Thank you, Paulette for the interesting and entertaining afternoon; and to Alan, our shuttle driver. We really enjoyed our time with you.

This was my first solo trip and one of the many activities that I did while on the island. The tour was amazing. Out tour guide, Shari, was fun and had the history of Barbados down. The food was also amazing. If participating, come on an empty stomach. Sample sizes were huge and filling. I tasted everything from sorel, fish cake and fish, to name a few. You will not be disappointed.

Good tour at a moderate pace. Lots of interesting tastings. Guide Janelle was excellent with lots of context and history of the development of the various foods. Large variety of foods tasted so don’t eat breakfast before starting tour!

Great tour. A lot of good and great history. Our guide Paulette was great. Fun and enthusiastic. The tour was informative, just the right amount of time and the last stop was at the chocolate factory where we enjoyed rum caramel ice cream. From beginning to end it was a terrific experience.

What a fantastic way to dip our toes into Bridgetown, some of its history and of course the food! Sernia our guide was top notch, fun and funny, knowledgeable and personable. We sampled alot of food, alot than what we expected and ended up taking the last meal back to our air b&b to eat the next day. Alan our driver for pick up and drop off was also super helpful and friendly and pointed out some important sights along the way. One suggestion would be to allow a few minutes after stopping at the bakery or restaurants in case someone wanted to purchase some more food to bring back with them. Thanks again!!

Paulette gave our group of 8 a great walking tour with many stops to show and tell us about the lifestyle and culture of the Bajans; and then there were the food stops! We literally brought home enough food for dinner too.

Had an amazing walking tour experience with our guide Paulette. She was knowledgeable and down to earth. We visited a variety of food places (sweet & savory), and I especially love that the portions were huge (enough to take home for later).

Be prepared for a lot of food on this tour. Our guide Searnia was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable about Bajan Food and proud of her country. Searnia made the tour all the more enjoyable by telling us her own stories and injecting a good dose of humour. We learned a lot about Bajan culture, it's food and a bit about the island. All in all a very enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend it.
