Motor City Musical brings Motown hits from musicians like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Jackson 5 to the stage, celebrating the history of a genre that brought new life and rhythm to the American music scene.
Head to the GTS Theatre and settle into your seat as the curtain comes up on the cast of the Original Motown Tribute Show in Myrtle Beach – Motor City Musical. Travel back to the swinging ’60s, a time when music broke down social barriers, changed lives, and brought Americans together over a shared love of soulful songs. Learn the story of Berry Gordy, whose Detroit recording studio put some of the last century’s biggest musical names on the global radar. NOTE: Trip Advisor Seats are in the BACK of the theatre and not able to be upgraded. For better seating order directly through the theatre.

5.00Excellent performance by talented performers. These artists are top tier. They are worthy of a much better venue. Don't get me wrong, this place has excellent accoustics and the sound system is perfect for this intimate setting. Believe me, once the show begins, the venue doesn't matter. You become immersed in what's happening on stage and you find yourself on a Motown Voyage of epic proportion that you don't want to end. Superb artists with pitch perfect harmory and vocal range from Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye or the Temptations, to the Supremes and Whitney. My only wish is that they upgrade to a facility these great talents so richly deserve. Awesome show. I'll go again. The performance deserves my 5-star rating.
