Departure from the beautiful city of Berat is at 9:00 AM. Return to Berat at 5:30 PM.
This is a full day trip that includes 2-3 hours of hiking in nature, opportunities to enjoy traditional food and explore nature.
Places to visit:
Bogova Waterfall, Osumi Canyons After about 50 minutes of travel we stop is in the lush green village of Bogova from where we start the hike to Bogova Waterfall.
The distance from Bogova village to the Waterfall is 2.5 km
Walking on almost flat terrain. The Bogova Waterfall is a natural wonder, the clean and cold water creates a natural pool which for the brave who want to challenge its cold water stands there, tempting us to swim and cool off on hot summer days.We leave for the village of Bogova to continue the journey by car to the city of Çorovodë. After eating a delicious lunch with local organic products we continue our journey to explore the beauties of the stunning Osumi Canyon,depends the season, we can see it from above, walk inside, swim etc.

What To Expect
Osum Canyon (Kanioni i Osumit)
We will visit Bogovë Waterfall and Osumi Canyon,on both places there are possibilities to swim. We drive for around 50 min after that we walk 25 min to reach Bogovë Waterfall. We stay 30 min there is possibility to swim on the natural swimming pool of the waterfall,temperature of the water varies from 6⁰C-10⁰C. We turn back to the car we drive 30 min souther to Çorovodë town where we stop for lunch then we drive 5 min to have the few stops to view the Canyon and after that we can walk to reach the river inside the Canyon and depending the temperatures we can swim or enjoy the beauties of the Canyon

The guide has a large knowledge about any aspect of Albania where we were interested in, we saw all described points of interest and did an additional hiking tour around the area of Bogova waterfall. 5.00Genti’s tour brings us so much joy, experience and knowledge. He is a fantastic storyteller with a great sense of humor. The tour was filled with his personal story and the rich history of Berat/Albania. We had to change our tour date last minute, and Genti was incredibly accommodating. He introduced the wild plants along the way and told us stories the water infrastructure there. The tour at the canyon is amazing. He lead us to a “secret path” where we can reach to the bottom of the canyon. It was like an adventure. We had great times together there. He’s also a very good photographer who teach my boyfriend how to take good photos and getting good angles haha.

5.00Because it's not a holiday season yet I had a private tour! It was a super sweet and friendly guide who knew a lot about nature, history of the country and was also just a nice company! We worked on the tour from 9:00 to 18:00 and really took our time for everything. I would definitely recommend this tour, the guide is also super good at taking pictures haha

5.00We have booked a private tour with the family of 5 through Tripadvisor. We were picked up neatly on time and the guide Genti was extremely friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too crazy and the explanation of everything was very extensive. Everything in English but he spoke that very well. Also to the children he was very friendly, the children liked him very much. No time constraints, did not have to finish a little faster, took the time we wanted to take for everything and did not set his time. Very relaxed actually. The route was more than expected, what you see is really indescribable and hardly to be captured on photo, you must have experienced it. The photos are later purely for reliving your personal memories. And those were in our case to remember. Costs something but then you really get something, in short super!

5.00It was a great day trip and we would be thrilled by nature. Genti is a great hiking guide with a lot of knowledge about history, culture and fauna. Genti adapted the tour to the participants individually, it was like a trip among friends. Genti is also a good motorist, so we could enjoy the ride through the great scenery. When we come back to Berat, we will do more hiking tours with Genti.
