I would definitely recommend it for people of all ages. What truly made this experience special was the history behind everything. You start to notice details that aren’t written anywhere, the kind of stories and insights you wouldn’t discover on your own. The tour really makes you see the ByWard Market in a completely different way, and some of those stories stay with you long after. The food tastings were amazing, with a great variety from different cultures, and the sweets were especially enjoyable. While you could visit these places on your own, what makes this experience unique is the meaning and history behind each stop. Ottawa has something special to offer here that you won’t easily find in other cities. Overall, it’s a memorable experience that combines culture, history, and food in a really authentic way.

We had an amazing time on the ByWard Market food tour. The experience was a perfect mix of local history and great food. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour feel personal rather than scripted. The pace was just right, and we got to try a variety of spots we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. Each stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and the portions were generous enough that we left full. What really stood out was how our guide Flavia connected the food with the story of the area. It gave a deeper appreciation of ByWard Market beyond just eating. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ottawa or even locals who want to rediscover the city in a fun way. Definitely worth it.

This was the best ByWard Market food tour in Ottawa. The guide was knowledgeable and made the history of the area really interesting. The food was excellent — a good mix of savory dishes and a sweet treat, and the portions were filling. Each stop felt unique and showcased some of the best local spots in the market, and hidden gems with history along the way! If you’re looking for a daytime food tour in Ottawa, this is definitely worth it. Great experience for both visitors and locals. Highly recommend this Ottawa food tour!

I did a culinary tour around ByWard Market with Flavia and it was awesome. Super chill vibe, great food at every stop, and the guide made everything fun and easy. It was such a cool way to explore the area and try things I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. Totally worth it if you’re in Ottawa and want something tasty and fun to do.
