It's a scavenger hunt, escape room, and urban crawl all-in-one. Follow the storyline around town as you find clues and use them to crack codes. Then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. Clues can be anywhere - murals, statues, landmarks, and more!
Plan on about two hours of playtime, depending on your experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Difficulty level is adjustable - take as many or as few hints as you’d like!
Note: Bookings made a week or more in advance receive their kit in the mail. Bookings made less than a week in advance will pick up their kit at the start point on the day of the adventure.

What To Expect
An immersive clue-solving adventure around Downtown. It's a cross between an escape room and a scavenger hunt! You only need to purchase one ticket for a group of up to 6. The city is literally your game board. Search for real-world clues and solve puzzles, then enter solutions on the app to find out where to go next. The game consists of a physical box and clues you must find in the real world, all around Downtown in Detroit. Plan on about two hours of play time, depending on experience level and how much time you spend exploring along the way. Trust no one. A ring of double agents has infiltrated the Chronos Agency. Can you track them down before it's too late? Search for clues, solve puzzles, and explore your city on this unforgettable adventure!

4.00Was fun, but a little difficult. I understand it’s an escape room but a little direction for some of the clues would have been helpful. But would definitely do it again.

5.00This was an absolutely amazing experience, I've been doing escape rooms several times a year for the past 10 years or so and this was a refreshing change. Walking through areas of Detroit I've never had reason to when going for sporting events or concerts, supporting small local businesses as we solved puzzles at our own pace. The puzzles were delightfully difficult but eventually we (4 35-45 year old adults and 1 12 year old) usually got them, only opening the hints on the last two. What a great way to spend a Saturday evening, 10/10

5.00We did the Escapley in Detroit and loved it. The clues were good and fun. We definitely had to use some hints. We ran into another group doing it as well and they were enjoying it also. We learned so much about the city and my son love taking pictures of all of the art that we didn't know exsisted. I hope that you are able to make more for Detroit because we would love to do it again!

5.00I freaking LOVED it! I thought the difficulty level was perfect. I took my team out of work for 1/2 a day as a team building exercise. NO issues with the game. The only issue we had was that I felt a little crunched for time because I was feeling pressure to get done and get back to work before we lost more work time! In the end, we only had to use clues to solve two of the puzzles, but NONE of them were too easy on us.

4.00The experience met two needs: our girls wanted to do an escape room and we wanted to see the sights. This experience was fun, got us out walking and seeing the sights. Our issue: we accidentally opened the wrong envelope first so we unknowingly were doing it wrong and then didn’t realize the mistake until late in the game. So, kind of a bummer… no fault of the game, but just a warning to make sure you look it all over before starting because the envelopes weren’t in any order in the box.

5.00We had so much fun - it was the perfect "day date" for our anniversary! The difficulty level was perfect and we were thrilled to explore Detroit and see parts of it that we had never seen before. We would definitely recommend this experience for couples or groups. We are going to try out other cities in our travels as well! Escapely was great to work with. I received an email from an actual person (not an automated bot!) immediately upon booking and another afterwards to make sure we had a good time. The only (very) minor glitch was the kit pickup at a local restaurant - it took a little while for the restaurant to locate the kit as the first few employees that I talked to didn't know what I was talking about. Not really a big issue though - they were all super nice and the kit was located within a reasonable amount of time. I recommend planning far enough in advance to have the kit sent to you directly if you want to avoid this minor blip. Overall, an amazing experience!

5.00This was an absolutely amazing experience. I grew up right outside of Detroit and learned so many things about the city! It is perfectly organized and you can do it as fast or as slow as you want to. You can stop along the way if you’d like. Highly highly recommend. I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

3.00If you're considering to book Detroit you will want to wait until after June. We had to bypass a few locations due to inaccessibility resulting in not being able to complete it. If we'd known of the limitations ahead of time we would have chose another day. The game itself was good. Easy to understand directions with visual and audio interactions.
Awesome experience! Would highly recommend trying!

5.00We enjoyed the game very much! This was a great way to get to know somewhere you have never been before! The 4 of us had a lot of fun and found the difficulty level to be good. The only thing I would say is a couple of the places were either under construction or no longer there. But we were able to figure things out eventually! Thank you for creating such a fun way to see the city! We will definitely be purchasing another game in the future!
