  This was so much fun!! We had recently moved to Detroit and my sister and her husband came for a visit. This was a fantastic way to see the city, learn some local history, and just have a great time! The challenges were pretty hard sometimes so the clues were very helpful. We were so excited when we figured it out. I am buying 3 more to have in the apartment for when people come to visit. Highly recommend Escapely to anyone!!

  I wanted to do something different with my family so I decided to try the outdoor escape room in Detroit. It was the best decision I made on the trip. Me, my wife and daughter had a lot fun trying to solve the mystery while sightseeing the city. It is a challenge but as you answer the questions and advance in the game it gets more and more rewarding. We really enjoyed the adventure. I was worried that my 22 year old would think it was boring but she really got into it. She actually took charge of our adventure and was determined to solve the mystery. The cost is very fair and you can play at your own pace. The more people involved the better as there are so many hidden gems that one or two people may have difficulty locating. Three heads are better than two. It took us several hours which we didn't even realize because we were so into the game. Now when we travel we are looking to see if Escapely is available on our next destination.

  So fun, perfect difficulty made us think but wasn’t too easy or too hard. Allowed us see cool parts of the city. Story line was interesting. Cost was fair for the experience.

  It was a good trip between Christmas and New Year's weekend. Need at least 5 or 6 days to get comprehensive visit. Weather was cold, some snow days, but not all that bad. Several museum closed, especially on New Year's Day but several museum open all worth the visit. The Henry Ford (Village closes Nov 30), do the factory tour , The Charles Wright African American History very informative, The Art museum, Belle Isle (conservatory and aquarium great but crowed) all recommended. Renaissance Center high floor view is awesome but check times when restaurant open, not much else there. Do the downtown free People mover and Qline. Many good restaurants with various cultural cuisines available. People Amazingly friendly to tourist. Unable to add pictures

  Was fun, but a little difficult. I understand it’s an escape room but a little direction for some of the clues would have been helpful. But would definitely do it again.

  This was an absolutely amazing experience, I've been doing escape rooms several times a year for the past 10 years or so and this was a refreshing change. Walking through areas of Detroit I've never had reason to when going for sporting events or concerts, supporting small local businesses as we solved puzzles at our own pace. The puzzles were delightfully difficult but eventually we (4 35-45 year old adults and 1 12 year old) usually got them, only opening the hints on the last two. What a great way to spend a Saturday evening, 10/10

  We did the Escapley in Detroit and loved it. The clues were good and fun. We definitely had to use some hints. We ran into another group doing it as well and they were enjoying it also. We learned so much about the city and my son love taking pictures of all of the art that we didn't know exsisted. I hope that you are able to make more for Detroit because we would love to do it again!

  I freaking LOVED it! I thought the difficulty level was perfect. I took my team out of work for 1/2 a day as a team building exercise. NO issues with the game. The only issue we had was that I felt a little crunched for time because I was feeling pressure to get done and get back to work before we lost more work time! In the end, we only had to use clues to solve two of the puzzles, but NONE of them were too easy on us.

  The experience met two needs: our girls wanted to do an escape room and we wanted to see the sights. This experience was fun, got us out walking and seeing the sights. Our issue: we accidentally opened the wrong envelope first so we unknowingly were doing it wrong and then didn’t realize the mistake until late in the game. So, kind of a bummer… no fault of the game, but just a warning to make sure you look it all over before starting because the envelopes weren’t in any order in the box.

  Had a great time doing the outdoor escape room around Detroit. Was a great way to see areas of the city that ordinarily we would just walk right by. Very thoughtful clues that incorporated the city well.
