Enjoy a 90-minute walking tour through the magical world of Harry Potter, right here in Oxford. Led by a University of Oxford alumnus or current student, this tour is perfect for fans who want to follow in the footsteps of their favourite characters.
You’ll visit the bookshop where J.K. Rowling first presented her books, see where Emma Watson not only acted but also studied, and pass by familiar faces like Nearly Headless Nick. You'll recognise the arches and gothic pinnacles seen in the films — some around the famous Divinity School, others hidden in plain sight throughout the city.
The highlight of the tour is a visit to New College, one of Oxford’s most beautiful colleges, where you’ll find the very tree under which Draco Malfoy was turned into a ferret. From quiet cloisters to scenes straight out of the wizarding world, this is a must for anyone who’s ever dreamed of Hogwarts.

Wheelchair users are welcome on the tour. Please note that one small area is inaccessible, though it only accounts for a few minutes of the route. Some parts of New College may also be difficult to access. We advise caution due to uneven surfaces, curbs, and potential trip hazards. Please also be mindful of vehicles and bicycles, particularly in busy areas.
Not recommended for travellers who cannot complete a 90-minute walk

What To Expect
Important: meet the guide OUTSIDE the address, not inside. The location is not part of our business. The meeting point is the RED PILLAR MAILBOX in front of 11 Broad Street. Your guide wears a royal blue item of clothing with a heraldic shield—this may be a jacket, cap, beanie, scarf, or polo shirt.

5.00I’m not the one to leave reviews but our guide Sushi a biochemistry graduate is a star. My family and I did not get bored even for a second and her knowledge about Harry Potter and Oxford architecture is truly impressive. She also recommended places to visit after the tour ended. The Harry Potter tour itself is very well structured and we were lucky to have sunshine. Well done.

5.00We had a great tour from a lovely guide Taisiya (likely spelling that wrong). Would recommend this tour. Taisiya brought us to many interesting sites as advertised, gave us plenty of time at each location & gave us tips for after the tour (the deers in Magdalen for example). Interesting to get a tour from someone studying in Oxford. Thank you!

5.00Great experience, we visited Oxford for the day and booked the Harry Potter tour, our guide Jamie really made the day special taking us around the city and into new college, even giving us suggestions on where to go after and for dinner. Highly recommend the natural history museum too if you have time! Would recommend, we learnt a lot about the city and had a lovely walk in the sun.

5.00Wonderful experience. I accidentally booked a week ahead, and the team were very kind and helpful in getting me tickets rebooked in the last minute. The tour itself was wonderful. Excellent tour guide - really knowledgeable and took us to some great places. Very grateful for the experience.
It was very informative and enjoyable, with our tour guide, AK, giving us a lit of trivia about Oxford.

2.00Im very sorry to say that I would not recommend this tour…First of all it was very rushed. We had about 2-3 minutes at each stop and it didn’t give me time to take in the experience. We were always rushing to the next sight. And halfway through the tour I actually double checked my booking to see if I was on the right tour cause it didn’t feel like a Harry Potter tour. This tour claims to be a filming location tour and although we did see a few of those, a lot of the other stops felt irrelevant. Like where the cast used to grab a pint or the bookstore where Rowling once had a signing.. Rhere are so many filming locations in Oxford that I would much rather see! I would have preferred to spend my money on the entrance to New College and then see all the locations on my own.
