5.00We did the combined Pablo Escobar and comune 13 tour. We didn’t really know much on the subject and never watched any of the shows that have been published. Diego told a lot of (personal) stories about the history and it was super interesting! He is a great and very interesting guy who has been through things that most of us can’t even imagine. It certainly is an experience that gets you thinking and will stay with you for some time.

5.00If you get Diego as your guide, consider yourself lottery lucky. At first I was scared to go to Columbia, as I have heard how dangerous it can be here, however thanks to Diego I had no worries. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the history of Medellin, but he is also street smart. He had an unique way of always being with the group, helping with whatever we needed, but also giving us enough space for it to feel as if we were on our own. On the 2nd day I dropped my phone in the Hot tub and it was completely broken. I still had a week left here and was in panic mode. The minute I told Diego he reach it to his connects and in less than 2 hours I had a backup phone that he let me borrow for the remainder of my trip. Seriously would not have had even close to as good of a time if it wasn’t for Diego.

5.00Guide - Diego Really unique perspective on the Escobar times in Medellin. First hand accounts of what it was like working for the cartel. Extremely knowledgeable , patient, answers all different types of questions. We came in not knowing much about Escobar and leaving feeling like experts . Engaging, interesting.

5.00One of the what tours I’ve done in South America if not the best. We done the Pablo Escobar tour + Communa 13. Got to learn the real history of Escobar and Colombia that you won’t get on tv or online. Couldn’t recommend the tour enough, Diego was absolutely amazing, his information was incredible!

5.00We took the tour with Sat Tours - Diego (the guide) was waiting for us right on time outside the hotel, greeting us with a smile and full of explanations! Diego used to work in the Escobar cartel, he knows the inside stories and presents things in a fascinating and different way, exposing details that not many people know. We spent a whole day with him and enjoyed every moment! It was fascinating and interesting, and also at the end when going to Comuna 13 (a colorful and nice neighborhood of pavilions) he accompanied us and explained everything! In short - highly recommended!

5.00Took a tour with Diego for Comuna 13 and the history of Pablo Escobar. I've to say it was one of the most interesting tours I've ever taken in my life. Diego told us the story of Escobar, from his point of view as an ex-member in the Medellin Cartel. Full of tension, suspense and great places combined as we went along. Afterwards we continued to Comuna 13 which was also super nice, there he also shared with us the history of the place. So colorful!
