What To Expect

Embark on a packrafts for an extraordinary packrafting adventure on the Tara river and paddle through the crystal clear river in the deepest canyon in Europe and UNESCO heritage. This unique adventure combines excitement and tranquility, offering the perfect combination of paddling and relaxation. Paddle through calm sections and exciting rapids as you navigate your own packraft at your own pace, with expert local guide and high end equipment ensuring safety and fun. Along the way, we will stops for swimming and enjoying nature: visiting Ljutica, one of the shortest rivers in Europe with freezing cold and drinkable water. You will enjoy a stunning view of the Djurdjevica Tara Bridge considered as one of the most beautiful bridges in the world and passes 170 meters above the river. This is section of Tara River with grade II - III rapids which makes it perfect for beginners as well as well as experienced paddlers searching for excitement. Ideal for adventurers and thrill seekers as well as families.

My colleague and I did the three-day tour, and it was an incredible experience. Everything was superbly organized by the organizer, Nenand. We received briefings at the beginning, and then the adventure began. The river and the landscapes were breathtaking. The mix of wild and quiet sections was just right. Another plus was our guide, who had so much to share about the region and culture. There was never a shortage of fun. The accommodations were also very good and authentic. We can 100% recommend this experience and will never forget it. Thank you, Nenad & Srdjan

I had an amazing time on the 3 day expedition, everything was perfect and the Tara river and the canyon is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been, our guide Srdjan was so incredible and really made the trip! The accommodation and the local food throughout the whole trip was great.

We stayed in the Durmator region an extra night specifically to do our pre booked Packrafting Tara River tour only for it to be canceled at 19:16 the night before! It was fortunate I actually picked up the email. No explanation was given. Really disappointed. If you are considering making a booking beware!

Thank you so much for a really fun, exciting, beautiful and enjoyable experience! For us, that have done rafting and kayaking before, it was much more fun to have our own inflatable kayaks instead of being in a bigger raft. The rapids were decently kind, which was good as not all of us had the same experience, still a little bit thrilling. In between the rapids, we enjoyed a slow pace at the river with exceptionally clear water and beautiful colors. We also had a break with some crackers and a lovely swim. In the end we had some fun water splashing between our small rafts and the bigger ones. Our guide was wonderful and we highly recommend this activity!!!
