Take your first step into the world of scuba diving with the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the most recognized entry-level certification. After completing the course, you will be certified to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world.
Day 1 covers basic theory and confined water skills, practiced in a pool or shallow bay.
Days 2 and 3 include four open water dives from the boat at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park.
Small groups ensure personal attention and a relaxed learning pace. All equipment, hotel transfer, lunch, and drinks are included. Learn essential dive skills, gain confidence underwater, and discover vibrant marine life while earning your certification.

Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

What To Expect
Over three days, you will complete the full PADI Open Water Diver course, the most recognized entry-level scuba certification. On the first day, you’ll meet your instructor for a relaxed theory session covering the basics of diving, followed by practicing essential skills in a swimming pool or shallow bay. On the second and third days, you’ll join our dive boat and complete four open water dives at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park. During these dives, you’ll apply the skills you learned, gain confidence underwater, and explore vibrant marine life. Throughout the course, you’ll train in small groups for personal attention, using well-maintained equipment. Upon completion, you’ll be certified to dive independently to 18 meters anywhere in the world.

5.00We booked the course through GetYourGuide and are completely satisfied. The communication was fast and uncomplicated, even the hotel pickup (Oasis) went smoothly. Our instructor Ivo from Switzerland was extremely competent, relaxed and professional – we can highly recommend him. Due to illness, we had to interrupt the course after the first day, but were able to continue it without any problems five days later. We felt safe and well looked after at all times and are very grateful for this great experience. The wreck of the HTMS Chang was an absolute highlight!

5.00I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better scuba experience. I spent four days diving here and went from Open Water certification in just three days to an advanced wreck dive on day four—and every single day was incredible. My Open Water instructor, Geoffrey, was outstanding. Calm, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, he made learning feel natural and confidence-building rather than rushed. Safety was always the top priority, and he explained everything clearly, making sure I truly understood each skill instead of just checking boxes. On the fourth day, I joined Etienne for an advanced dive, and it was hands down one of the most intense and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. Descending onto the HTMS Chang wreck, managing depth, awareness, and breathing under pressure—it was challenging in the best possible way. Etienne was phenomenal: composed, observant, and deeply focused on teaching real-world diving skills while keeping everything controlled and safe. I learned more on that dive than I ever expected. The entire team runs a professional, well-organized operation, and you can tell they genuinely care about developing confident, capable divers—not just handing out certifications. By the end of the trip, I felt calm, capable, and completely hooked on diving. If you’re considering getting certified or pushing yourself further as a diver, this is the place to do it. Five stars isn’t enough—I’d give more if I could. 🌊🤿

Our two instructors, Markus and Oscar, were absolutely outstanding. They took a lot of time for our training and explained everything clearly and patiently. You could really feel that they care about their students and about high-quality, responsible dive education. Both of them were incredibly friendly, funny, and helpful, which made the whole experience not only professional but also very relaxed and enjoyable. The training was very individual, careful, and well structured, adapted to our personal pace and needs. We always felt safe, well looked after, and motivated. Thanks to them, diving became a fantastic experience for us from the very first moment. Highly recommended – one of the best dive schools you can choose in Koh Chang!

5.00Me and my dad followed the 3-day PADI open water diver course with BB Divers on Koh Chang. The experience had been great! Our trainer Tam was fantastic! We’ve got a lot of personal attention, learned and also laughed a lot! We’ve seen turtles, a lot of fish and even a whale shark!! Fantastic experience! The rest of the boat crew and boatmaster Oscar were also really nice, helpfull and a great team to dive with! I would highly recommend going diving with BB Divers on Koh Chang!

Had the best experience the whole course and felt so well looked after. Very thankful for this amazing 3 days. 5.00Went into my Padi with some anxiety about the deep waters, but once I arrived and started doing practical work with my instructor Pierre, everything clicked from the start! He led me and my buddy through the course in a quick but controlled tempo and nothing felt overcomplicated or whatever. Straight to the point, yet patient when we would make a mistake. Great experience! Next up: Advanced😆
