Take your first step into the world of scuba diving with the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the most recognized entry-level certification. After completing the course, you will be certified to dive independently to a maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world.

Day 1 covers basic theory and confined water skills, practiced in a pool or shallow bay.

Days 2 and 3 include four open water dives from the boat at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park.

Small groups ensure personal attention and a relaxed learning pace. All equipment, hotel transfer, lunch, and drinks are included. Learn essential dive skills, gain confidence underwater, and discover vibrant marine life while earning your certification.

Diving within 18 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

What To Expect

Over three days, you will complete the full PADI Open Water Diver course, the most recognized entry-level scuba certification. On the first day, you’ll meet your instructor for a relaxed theory session covering the basics of diving, followed by practicing essential skills in a swimming pool or shallow bay. On the second and third days, you’ll join our dive boat and complete four open water dives at beautiful coral reefs around Koh Chang and Koh Rang National Park. During these dives, you’ll apply the skills you learned, gain confidence underwater, and explore vibrant marine life. Throughout the course, you’ll train in small groups for personal attention, using well-maintained equipment. Upon completion, you’ll be certified to dive independently to 18 meters anywhere in the world.

Over the past three days we have gone from zero experience to Open Water Divers. Geoffry has helped us immensely with this. He explained each step calmly; no question was too much. What was also a huge plus is that he spoke Dutch. We were able to make four very good dives under the guidance of Geoffry. It was a unique experience with top accompaniment. 🤍🦞🐠 THANK YOU BB diverse, but especially Geoffry!!!!!

Geoffry guided us through this process in a very pleasant and personal way and made the course a pleasant course. I did a 3-day PADI Open Water Diver course with BB Divers in Koh Chang, and the experience was amazing! The operation was flawless and incredibly professional. The highlight was my instructor, Sebastian. immensely professional, patient, friendly, and completely non-negotiable when it came to maintaining the highest standards. Sebastian’s guidance turned the learning process into an absolute joy. I had the best possible start to my diving journey. Highly, highly recommended!

Our instructor Steve was very professional & patient. He was able to help me complete my PADI and overcome my fears. His diver master student Fred was also a great help, very friendly and confident. The BB divers team provided a great service, everyone was happy & helpful. Would definitely recommend as someone with zero diving experience this has boosted my confidence

We spent 3 days at the top with my sister to get our PADI Open Water certification at BB Divers. We were fortunate to have Joe as our instructor just for ourselves: he was very pedagogical, very patient and always attentive to ensure that we acquired the right reflexes to dive safely. The organization is really perfect: a punctual and friendly taxi picks you up directly from the hotel, the equipment is ready on board as soon as you arrive and the team takes care of everything for you at the end of the day. The meals served on the boat are very plentiful with choice, which makes the days at sea even more enjoyable. On the last day, the sea was a bit rougher and we weren’t in the best shape because of seasickness, but fortunately Oscar, another instructor, took care of us and helped us with our equipment, which allowed us to finish the training serenely. In short, an extremely professional, well organized and very caring diving center. If you want to learn to dive seriously while feeling accompanied and safe, this is the perfect place! A huge thank you to Joe and Oscar for their patience and kindness.

Started with the e-learning at home so we just did the diving training in the pool and then 4 dives at koh loan, koh thian and koh yak. The diving instructor was really cool and we had a lot of fun. Delicious food on the boat.

We are so happy we chose to use BB Divers for our open water PADI course. We felt supported at every step of the journey. We started with Pierre in the pool learning the basics. Then moved to the boat and ocean practice with Chang. Both were amazingly helpful, accommodating, patient, and quick with tips and tricks to help us master the skills. Definitely expert, experienced staff. To be honest, the boat ride to the dive sites was a bit rough, but that’s to be expected in this season (July - rainy). That being said the boat was large and we had room to move if we needed to. My daughter loved the lunches we had each day, and the fresh fruit on the boat. The equipment we used for the dives was good quality which made me comfortable. We saw lots of nice coral, fish, eels, sting rays, huge jelly fish, and my favorite, the nudibranchs. If you’re looking to get your PADI certification or just get out diving or snorkeling, I can’t recommend BB Divers enough!

BB Divers is an amazing place to get your PADI license if you are looking to get into diving. The diving instructor I was learning with, (Kru Chang), is very strict on the curriculum and did not miss a single thing while teaching me how to dive. In contrast, my diving instructor in Koh Tao’s reef diving center, (Ms. Maria) missed out on a lot of things like the dive computer, controlled emergency ascent, and didn’t even verify my dives. If you need a reliable dive center and instructor, don’t hesitate to look for Kru Chang. He is very knowledgeable and definitely has your back. He even gave me a philosophy lesson at the end of my dive.

We did the Open Water Diving course with bb divers Koh Kood and it was fantastic! Communication and organization via Manu went uncomplicated and she told us everything in advance and eased the worries. Our instructor Barry was very cool, helpful, taught us a lot and was always by our side. After a pool session to practice we had four very nice dives, two of them in Koh Rang National Park. Many thanks to Manu, Barry and the crew on the boat!
