The Padi open water course is "the course" for non divers to train and become a licensed diver. The training takes 3 days. On the first day we go over the theory and we train skills from the beach. The next days you're ready to go out by boat for your first dives: 4 dives in total spread over 2 days on the coral reefs around Koh Kood or Koh Rang.

What To Expect
This is the one! OWD is the first course where you'll get a full certificate: your ticket to the underwater world. On the first day we go over the theory and we train skills from the beach. The next days you're ready to go out by boat for your first dives: 4 dives in total spread over 2 days on the coral reefs around Koh Kood or Koh Rang. Special: For the ow course BB divers include a free insurance for the duration of the course in cooperation with Dive Assure.

5.00I completed my PADI Open Water Course with BB Divers, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! My instructor Morgan Feroldi was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, which made the entire course both safe and enjoyable. From the very first briefing to the final dive, I felt supported and well taken care of. The instructor explained everything clearly and calmly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure each skill felt comfortable before we moved on. BB Divers as a whole gave a very professional and well-organized impression. The equipment was in excellent condition, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the entire team contributed to a fantastic diving environment. I can highly recommend both the course and my instructor – I couldn’t have wished for a better start to my diving journey! 🌊🤿✨

5.00I had an amazing diving experience with Marcus from BB Divers. He is an excellent instructor—professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. From the beginning, he made me feel safe and confident in the water. His explanations were clear, and he always took the time to ensure I understood every step before moving on. I highly recommend diving with Marcus and the whole BB Divers team. It was an incredible experience, and I would definitely come back again!

5.00Had the pleasure of doing my PADI open water certification at BB Divers with Manu and her crew. I was fortunate to be instructed by Louis, who was very patient when explaining the various drills and whenever something didn't quite work out, e.g. if I made a mistake. I was the only student, but was told that they always keep groups to at most 2 students per instructor. Manu, Louis and the rest of the crew were all extremely professional while keeping a light and fun atmosphere around me and amongst the crew. I can only hope to one day come back to Koh Kood and go on one (or more) fun dives with BB Divers. As an added bonus they have four absolutely adorable cats!

Great price point ,so professional and friendly.Awesome lunch on the boat.The crew is very helpful and do their best to make it an extremely enjoyable experience.Getting my Padi open water with Dive instructor Louis was extra special .He is an excellent teacher,patient and extremely safe.What a way to get certified!! 5.00Amazing experience! I took the first scuba diver-part of the OWD course with confined water practice and two open water dives in Koh Kood. Excellent communication with Manu right from the beginning. I received very detailed information on different options and got to choose which one suited me the best, as well as the schedule. I had to make last minute (the evening before the first day of the course) changes to the schedule due to a minor accident, and they were flexible and understanding to reschedule the whole activity. The course itself exceeded my expectations! Marcus is truly a professional. We recapped some theory parts that I had learnt through PADI e-learning in advance, and he had the patience to explain and repeat things several times to make sure everything was understood correctly. During the confined and open water skill practices, he proved to be supportive, encouraging and detail-oriented. That certainly helped me gain confidence and feel more comfortable under water. Highly recommend BB Divers!

5.00Even in the off-season, the team did everything to make sure we had a wonderful diving experience. Manu made an extra effort to make sure my boyfriend could complete the PADI Open Water Diver course, and the whole crew was extremely friendly and supportive. The food was also really good. We both had a lot of fun and hope to be back soon. Thank you Manu! Absolutely recommended!

5.00Highly recommended! After a beautiful Discovery dive in Koh Rang National Park we decided to attach the PADI Open Water Diver. Subsequent settlement was no problem and the first taster dive was included in the OWD. It was a great experience all around. Our instructor Daniell was very professional, patient and explained everything to us in a relaxed and safe atmosphere. You immediately notice that he has a real passion for diving and passes it on with a lot of joy. Organisation of the course was flawless. 5.00My Padi open water experience was smooth, everything went by the plan. BB divers assigned me Morgan the legend and a buddy. Morgan was very informative, sharp, highly experienced and caring. He took care of us very well and keep us safe at all time we under the water. He went extra miles explaining us how to deal with many different scenarios even tho there not in the course. By the end of this course, from a complete beginners, we found it quite relaxing and know how to help ourselves as well as knowing how to take of each other. Now I can dive! Memorable experience! Good place to try! Highly recommended!
